  Directions:
 
  1.   Cut fish steak into 1 x 1.5 inches nuggets. Prepare Soy Sauce Mixture in a cup.

  2.   Cut green and red pepper diagonally into slices. Combine fish nuggets, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in bowl. Mix well.

  3.   Heat 2 cups oil in pan to 300° F, fry fish nuggets until golden brown; remove from oil; drain. Fry green pepper slices for 5 seconds; remove from oil; drain.

     What you'll need:
 
  1   lb. fresh sea fish steak
  1   big green pepper
  1   big red pepper
  1   stalk green onion, finely chopped
  5   cloves garlic, finely sliced
  15   slices ginger
  ˝   tablespoon hot bean sauce
  1   tablespoon soy sauce
  1   tablespoon cornstarch
  2   cups corn oil
  Ingredients for soy sauce mixture:
  1   tablespoon white wine
  1   tablespoon soy sauce
  1   teaspoon sugar
  1   teaspoon cornstarch
  1   teaspoon vinegar

  4.   Heat 3 tablespoons oil to very hot but not smoke in sauté pan, pour in green onion, ginger, garlic, green pepper, red pepper, and hot bean sauce, stir 5 seconds. Stir in fried fish. Add soy sauce mixture. Stir-fry over high heat for 10 seconds.

  5.   Remove from heat. Serve immediately. Make 4 servings.
