        After baking
 
    What you'll need:
 
  1   cup yellow cornmeal
  1   cup Original Bisquick® mix
  2   tablespoons sugar
  ½   teaspoon salt
  1   cup milk
  ¼   cup vegetable oil
  2   eggs
  1   cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  1   can (11 oz.) no salt added niblets whole kernel sweet corn
  3   stalks green onion, finely chopped
       
    Directions:
 
  1.   Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine cornmeal, Bisquick® mix, sugar, and salt in large bowl. 
  2.   Mix milk, oil, eggs in small bowl; beat with fork until blended. Stir in corn and green onion until mixed evenly.
  3.   Stir egg mixture into cornmeal mixture, mix well. Pour batter into 9x9" square pan. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top.
  4.   Bake 35 minutes or until light golden brown. Cut into 12 squares, and serve warm as a side for gumbo. Make 6 servings.
