    What you'll need:
 
  1   cup yellow cornmeal
  1   cup all-purpose flour
  2   teaspoons baking powder
  1   teaspoon salt
  1   cup milk
  2   tablespoons honey
  2   eggs, well beaten
  6   tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  3   tablespoons white sesame seeds
  1   tablespoon vegetable oil

    Directions:
 
  1.   Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil. Generously sprinkle the bottom of the pan with white sesame seeds.
  2.   Mix milk, honey and eggs in small bowl, cut in butter. Combine cornmeal, flour, salt and baking powder in large bowl. 
  3.   Stir egg mixture into cornmeal mixture, mix well. Scrape batter into pan. Sprinkle more sesame seeds over the top.
  4.   Bake 25 minutes or until light golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. 
  5.   Cut into 12 squares, and serve warm as a side for gumbo. Make 6 servings.
