Scout’s Life Rules

Scout loves to retrieve sticks from the river; Kira's idea of retrieving things from the river usually includes discarded bait

1. Scout is the BEST dog EVER
2. Any dog named Scout MUST sleep between his Mommy and Daddy
3. When Scout visits his Grandma, He MUST be allowed to climb ALL over her
4. Scouts are MUCH better than Kiras
5. Scout MUST smell nice and be kept clean
6. Scout's wading pool must be kept full of water
7. Scout is a terribly petite dog and MUST be lifted carefully into the car. He would NEVER jump in himself.
8. At no time shall Mommy forget that her primary job in life is to throw toys for Scout to retrieve.
9. Scout requires frequent kisses. Likewise, all humans must avail themselves to Scout to receive little Master's blessings (er, um - Kisses)
10. Remember always: Home is where the Scout is.

Scout's complaints:
Kira takes my toys and runs outside with them. I don't like her getting my toys dirty. Mom takes my picture constantly when she should be giving me a bath (I like to smell good). I had my half birthday on June 27th and Mom made ME a pork chop, and I had to share it with Kira. Kira is okay for a girl, but she doesn't swim as well as me.
