Merry Christmas 2001
From Our House
Christmas was busy! Our two kids couldn’t wait to get into their stockings. But, they were disappointed to find they didn’t get ALL goodies. Scout was not sure what to make of his new hairbrush. He promptly decided it would have better use as a new fetch toy! And, Kira did not like the implication that she just might have bad breath when she received doggie breath mints. But what do you expect from someone who uses peaunt flavored toothpaste???
Family and friends were very generous. Kira’s and Scout’s great aunt gave them a new cookie jar….including cookies! And Grandma gave them cookies, doggie cake mix, new biscuit molds (adult supervision required, guys), and new fetch toys! They made out like bandits.
They came home from Christmas dinner to find their stockings STUFFED! They got all sorts of treats and chews. They each got a new Zooball (Labrador sized tennis ball covered in fake fur). Each also received a frisbee and other toys aside from their “boring” gifts. Wow! It was doggie Nirvana!
We all four spent the next day sleeping in! You can tell why by looking at Scout’s droopy eyes!
