Kira's Heroic Acts!

Kira's 1st heroic act:
After one week of the neighbors' pet rabbit being missing, Kira alerted one night. I didn't see anything and scolded her. She began to dig at the fence. I scolded her some more, and she alerted again. This time I listened to her (Kira is a very bright girl). I looked where she was digging and saw the rabbit. It had gotten caught between the fence and a vine, so it couldn't get free. Kira saved its life. Luckily, the neighbors have a lab of their own, so when I pulled the fence board free it hopped right over to her.

Kira's 2nd heroic act:
Work was being done in the backyard, and I guess some nails got spilled. I was back there one night and slipped on a nail, fell and hit my head on the side of the house. Next thing I know, Kira is licking my face frantically and my husband comes out asking why I was banging on the window (on the other side of the house). When I fell, as best we can explain, she must have run to where he was and jumped on the window to get his attention. Then, she ran back to me.
