I am an artist living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I have traveled extensively in the United States and Europe studying, teaching, drawing, and painting.

After studying at the Columbus College of Art & Design in Ohio, Old Dominion University in Virginia, and the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, I received my master's degree at the North Carolina State University School of Design.

My background is in portraiture, illustration, and design. I am continually working with universities, colleges, museums, publishers, agencies, individuals, and corporations. I paint and draw angels, past and present, and the landscapes and seascapes they inhabit. These angels are, in fact, the friends, family, and animals we love. Pets are the angels of the universe; the comforters, healers, and peacemakers. Pets don't care if you are successful, beautiful, well-dressed or rich. "Just come home, feed me, take me out, stay with me as much as you can, or take me with you." This is what my dog wants.

I have art in galleries, museums, books, and private and corporate collections in the United States and other countries.
