My rigs seem to be ever-evolving.  For now, my amps are Ashdown, Ampeg and Walter Woods.  Cabinets: Bergantino and Acme.  I revived my Ampeg B15s which is exciting.  TONE!!!!  Main basses for rock, soul, funk & blues are a Fender '59 Precision Custom Shop closet classic (nice recreation by the boys in Corona, CA) and a 70's Gibson EB-3 (Jack Bruce!) short scale and an EMG active early 80's P I had customized by Luthier Norik Renson (when he's not on the road with Sting, Kenny Loggins and others).   For Jazz gigs (electric) I've been playing with a Zon Sonus 4

Pedals: Carl Martin, Fulltone, Maxon, EBS, Demeter, Malekko, MXR, EHX........  Recently I picked up an old 70's flanger MIJ by "Electra".  Thick A-N-A-L-O-G-U-E colours.  Tuner: Peterson Strobostomp

For Upright gigs I'm playing an American Standard made by the H. N. White Company in Cleveland sometime in the late 40's.  What a sweet playing and sounding old ply bass.  Tiny neck.  Amplification: Fishman Full Circle piezo, Clark Biesele magnetic, David Gage Realist piezo, Isomax Countryman mic.through a Walter Woods stereo head.  I'm trying to get the best of both worlds here:  nice air and sheen with the MIC and more than enough meat and volume with a magnetic or piezo.
