As I pondered a question
In my mind I sought
I have always imagined
In whose name I was brought forth

Many names have been mentioned
Many names have been claimed
Many names have been spoken
So I wondered in whose name

As I traveled and wondered
Many name were agreed
Didn’t make any difference
How many names there would be

Some used the name Christ Jesus
Some chose God Allah
Some chose Lilly of Valleys
Some chose plain Ole God

As they chose what they felt
They all chose what they seen
In the characteristics
Of one Supreme Being

But as many have read
All by near and by far
Have they ever asked him?
What’s your name, my dear God?

Until then I still wonder
In what name shall it be
I am left with Grand Architect
That’s what Masons have agreed.
