*Judges 6:23-24, "And the LORD said to him, 'Peace to you, do not fear; you shall not die.' Then Gideon built an altar there to the LORD and named it The LORD is Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites."
Where there is enmity and strife, fear and trembling, trouble and turmoil there is a peace that surpasses all understanding. It removes the barrier that keeps us separated from Him. He ministers joy in a time of mourning. He brings health and healing to the soul when it is cast down. He restores the troubled heart.
He brings us out in joy and leads us forth in peace. The mountains and the hills break forth before you and all the trees of the field clap their hands. In Him there is no fear, Jehovah-shalom, The Lord Is Peace.
