Six Hour Workshops

Stretching Tradition: Take a step toward creating original quilt design grounded in traditional block patterns. Learn about splices, split outs, and sizings. Revitalize your quiltmaking! (available as process or project class; also available in multiple day format)

Adventures in Black & White:
Create dynamic combinations with two blocks in black, white, and gray. This is an interesting voyage through clean, crisp design and shaded variations.

Border Sampler:
A vertical-strip sampler quilt composed of seven border designs. Each one illustrates a method of creating pieced borders. Combined, they make a lovely different kind of sampler.

Colorweave:
Create a "woven" wallhanging of vibrant, interactive color. Simple piecing of unique color combinations yields results that are fascinating.

One Patch - Pieces and Pivots:
Take a slightly irregular four-sided shape (a square that doesn't understand 90 degrees!), add a few funky Log Cabins and a mess of fantastic fabrics, and before you know it, you've created a great quilt. Fairly fast and lots of fun!
