A Brief Biography:

A quiltmaker since 1965, Lynn is known for her work in color and design (though not for the
first quilt she created!). She is the author of
Stretching Tradition: New Images for
Traditional Quilts (Quilt House Publishing, 1995) and
Quiltmaking
for Beginners: A Stitch by Stitch Guide to Hand and Machine Techniques
(Quilt Digest Press, 1999). Her award-winning quilts have been seen in guild, gallery, and national shows. She teaches for guilds, shops, and seminars throughout the
country and abroad. She was The National Quilting Association, Inc. annual
show coordinator for three years (2002-2004) and served as president of the
Association for 2004-2006. Her newest interest, an extension of using beads to enchance
her quilts, is creating hand-stitched, beaded jewelry.
Lynn lives on an acre outside of Phoenix, AZ with her family, and
many dogs, an inordinate amount of fabric and thread, and a vacuum cleaner on
the verge of cardiac arrest...! She welcomes your interest in her programs
and invites you to call or write (snail or
!) for more information.
