FAQ

Question: I upgraded to XP from Win 98/ME and the Taskbar icon is gone. What happened?

Answer: This is because installing XP deletes all Startup programs from the registery. The program is still there along with all your data, you just need to run the install program again and click the "Accept" button to fix this. DO NOT run Uninstall first.

Question: Are there any windows that HotMouse cannot handle? Answer: DOS windows and some Java Windows.

Question: How many Specific Windows can the list hold? Answer: You can resize the list to a maximum of 100 records. The minimum size is 10.

Question: I'm already a registered user, how do I upgrade to a newer version? Answer: Just download the new and click on the Accept button. Do not Unistall first. You will then have the new version and still be registered.

Note: The option "Bring Scrolled Window To Top" on the Special Settings Screen may cause problems on some systems. If you have any problems such as sluggish scrolling, windows slow to draw/redraw, etc., uncheck this option and see if it goes away. This option is on the Special Settings Screen (select Special on the Shell Tray Icon popup window).
