Tail: Dark elk hair, or moose hair (fairly thick)
Body: Peacock herl(3-4 wraps), red floss, peacock herl (3-4 wraps)
Hackle: Brown Saddle hackles (or neck hackle on small sizes)
Wing: White bucktail (or calf tail)upright & divided

Hook: Tiemco 7999 Size: 2-6
Tag: Flat silver tinsel
Tip: Yellow floss (1/3)
Tail: Golden pheasant crest
Butt: Black ostrich herl
Body: Rear half (1/3) is golden yellow floss, veiled above and below with yellow hackle tips and butted with black ostrich herl. front half (1/3) is black floss. Rear half (1/3) is golden yellow floss, veiled above and below with yellow hackle tips and butted with black ostrich herl. front half (1/3) is black floss.
Rib: x fine oval silver tinsel over rear half, wider oval silver tinsel over front half.
Throat: Speckled guinea fowl
Wing: Two sections of black turkey with white tip, golden pheasant tail, bustard, grey mallard, peacock herl (sword feather), swan dyed blue and yellow, red macaw, mallard, and a topping .
Shoulders: Jungle cock eye and blue hackle fibers
Cheeks: Kingfisher or like

Hook: R.E. Size: 5/0
Thread: Red
Tail: Long saddles, dyed, two yellow inside, two red outside. Tie in just above point.
Body: White thread, lacquered.
Hackle: Red and yellow, mixed. Palmer half of shank starting from tail. Use two red and two yellow hackles to form bushy hackling.
Notes: Lacquer fore body with red lacquer, then epoxy.
