APOSTLE

2: 87 We gave Moses the Book And followed him up With a succession of
2: 87 Apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and
2: 87 strengthened him With the holy spirit. Is it That whenever there
2: 87 comes to you An Apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are
2: 87 Puffed up with pride?-Some ye called impostors, And others ye slay!
2: 98 Whoever is an enemy to Allah And His angels and apostles, To
2: 98 Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those Who reject
  2: 98 Faith.
2:101 And when came to them An apostle from Allah, Confirming what was
2:101 with them, A party of the People of the book Threw away the Book of
2:101 Allah Behind their backs, As if (it had been something) They did
  2:101 not know!
2:104 O ye men of Faith! Say not (to the Apostle) Words of ambiguous
2:104 import, But words of respect; And hearken (to him): To those
2:104 without Faith Is a grievous punishment.
2:108 Would ye question Your Apostle as Moses Was questioned of old? But
2:108 whoever changeth From Faith to Unbelief, Hath strayed without doubt
  2:108 From the even way.
2:129 "Our Lord! send amongst them An Apostle of their own, Who shall
2:129 rehearse Thy signs To them and instruct them In Scripture and
2:129 Wisdom, And sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, The
  2:129 Wise."
  2:129 SECTION 16.
2:143 Thus have We made of you An ummat justly balanced, That ye might be
2:143 witnesses Over the nations, And the Apostle a witness Over
2:143 yourselves; And We appointed the Qibla To which thou wast used,
2:143 Only to test those who followed The apostle from those Who would
2:143 turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change)
2:143 momentous, except To those guided by Allah, And never would Allah
2:143 Make your faith of no effect, For Allah is to all people Most
2:143 surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.
2:151 A similar (favour Have you already received) In that We have sent
2:151 Among you an Apostle Of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and
2:151 sanctifying You, and instructing you In Scripture and Wisdom, And
  2:151 in new Knowledge.
2:214 Or do ye think That ye shall enter The Garden (of Bliss) Without
2:214 such (trials) As came to those Who passed away Before you? They
2:214 encountered Suffering and adversity, And were so shaken in spirit
2:214 That even the Apostle And those of faith Who were with him Cried:
2:214 "When (will come) The help of Allah?" Ah! verily, the help of
  2:214 Allah is (always) near!
2:252 These are the Signs Of Allah: We rehearse them To thee in truth:
2:252 verily Thou art one of the Apostles.
2:253 Those apostles We endowed with gifts, Some above others: To one of
2:253 them Allah spoke; Others He raised To degrees (of honour); To Jesus
2:253 the son of Mary We gave Clear (Signs), And strengthened him With
2:253 the Holy Spirit. If Allah had so willed, Succeeding generations
2:253 Would not have fought Among each other, after Clear (Signs) had
2:253 come to them, But they (chose) to wrangle, Some believing and
2:253 others Rejecting. If Allah had so willed. They would not have
2:253 fought Each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.
  2:253 SECTION 34.
2:272 It is not required Of thee (O Apostle), To set them on the right
2:272 path, But Allah sets on the right path Whom He pleaseth. Whatever
2:272 of good ye give Benefits your own souls, And ye shall only do so
2:272 Seeking the "Face." Of Allah. Whatever good Ye give, shall be
2:272 Rendered back to you, And ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.
2:279 If ye do it not, Take notice of war From Allah and His Apostle: But
2:279 if Ye turn back, ye shall have Your capital sums: Deal not unjustly
2:279 And ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.
2:285 The Apsostle believeth In what hath been revealed To him from his
2:285 lord, As do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth In
2:285 Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles "We make no
2:285 distinction (they say) Between one and another Of His apostles."
2:285 And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, Our
2:285 Lord, and to Thee Is the end of all journeys."
3: 32 Say: "Obey Allah And His Apostle": But if they turn back Allah love
3: 32 th not those Who reject faith.
3: 44 This is part of the things Of the things unseen, Which We reveal un
3: 44 to thee (O Apostle) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them When
3: 44 they cast lots With arrows, as to which Of them should be charged
3: 44 With the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them When they disputed
  3: 44 (the point).
3: 49 "And (appoint him) An apostle to the Children Of Israel, (with this
3: 49 message): 'I have come to you, With a Sign from your Lord, In that
3: 49 I make for you Out of clay, as it were, The figure of a bird, And
3: 49 breathe into it, And it becomes a bird By Allah's leave; And I heal
3: 49 those Born blind, and the lepers, And I quicken the dead, By Allah's
3: 49 leave; And I declare to you What ye eat, and what ye store In your
  3: 49  houses, Surely Therein  is a Sign for you If ye did believe;
3: 53 "Our Lord! we believe In what Thou hast revealed, And we follow the
3: 53 Apostle; Then write us down Among those who bear witness."
3: 68 Without doubt, among men The nearest of kin to Abraham Are those
3: 68 who follow him, As are also this Apostle And those who believe:
3: 68 And Allah is the Protector Of those who have Faith.
3: 81 Behold! Allah took The Covenant of the Prophets, Saying: "I give
3: 81 you A Book and Wisdom; Then comes to you An Apostle confirming What
3: 81 is with you; Do ye believe him And render him help." Allah said:
3: 81 "Do ye agree, And take this My covenant As binding on you ?" They
3: 81 said : "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, And I am with you
  3: 81 Among the witnesses."
3: 86 How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it
3: 86 And bore witness That the Apostle was true And that clear Signs Had
3: 86 come unto them? But Allah guides not A people unjust.
3:100 O ye who believe! If ye listen To a faction Among the People of the
3:100 Book, They would (indeed) Render you apostates After ye have
  3:100 believed!
3:101 And how would ye Deny Faith while unto you Are rehearsed the Signs
3:101 Of Allah, and among you Lives the Apostle? Whoever holds Firmly to
3:101 Allah Will be shown A Way that is straight.
  3:101 SECTION 11.
3:132 And obey Allah And the Apostle; That ye may obtain mercy.
3:144 Muhammad is no more Than an Apostle: many Were the Apostles that
3:144 passed away Before him. If he died Or were slain, will ye then
3:144 Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back On his heels, not the
3:144 least Harm will he do to Allah; But Allah (on the other hand) Will
3:144 swiftly reward those Who (serve Him) with gratitude.
3:153 Behold! ye were climbing up The high ground, without even Casting a
3:153 side glance At anyone, and the Apostle In your rear was calling
3:153 you Back. There did Allah give you One distress after another By
3:153 way of requital, To teach you not to grieve For (the booty )that
3:153 had escaped you And for (the ill) that had befallen you.
3:153 For Allah is well aware Of all that ye do.
3:164 Allah did confer A great favour On the Believers When He sent among
3:164 them An Apostle from among Themselves, rehearsing Unto them the
3:164 Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, And instructing them,In Scripture
3:164 and Wisdom, While, before that, They had been In manifest error.
3:172 Of those who answered The call of Allah And the Apostle, Even after
3:172 being wounded, Those who do right And refrain from wrong Have a
  3:172 great reward;-
3:179 Allah will not leave The Believers in the state In which ye are
3:179 now, Until He separates What is evil From what is good . Nor will
3:179 He disclose To you the secrets Of the Unseen. But He chooses Of His
3:179 Apostles (For the purpose) Whom He pleases. So believe in Allah And
3:179 His Apostles: And if ye believe And do right, Ye have a reward
  3:179 Without measure.
3:183 They (also) said: "Allah took Our promise not to believe In an
3:183 apostle unless He showed us a sacrifice Consumed by fire (From
3:183 heaven)." Say: "There came to you Apostles before me, With Clear
3:183 Signs And even with what Ye ask for: why then, Did ye stay them If
  3:183 ye speak the truth?"
3:184 Then if they reject thee, so were rejected Apostles Before thee,
3:184 who came With Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, And the Book
  3:184 of Enlightenment.
3:194 "Our Lord! Grant us What Thou didst promise Unto us through Thine
3:194 Apostles, And save us from shame On the Day of Judgement: For Thou
  3:194 never breakest Thy promise."
4: 13 Those are limits Set by Allah: those who Obey Allah and His Apostle
4: 13 Will be admitted to Gardens With rivers flowing beneath, To abide
4: 13 therein (for ever) And that will be The Supreme achievement.
4: 14 But those who disobey Allah and His Apostle And transgress His
4: 14 limits Will be admitted To a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall
  4: 14 have A humiliating punishment.
  4: 14 SECTION 3.
4: 42 On that day Those who reject Faith And disobey the Apostle Will
4: 42 wish that the earth Were made one with them But never will they
4: 42 hide A single fact from Allah!
  4: 42 SECTION 7.
4: 59 O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle, And those
4: 59 charged With authority among you, If ye differ in anything Among
4: 59 yourselves, refer it To Allah and His Apostle, If ye do believe in
4: 59 Allah And the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable For final
  4: 59 determination.
  4: 59 SECTION 9.
4: 61 When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed, And to
4: 61 the Apostle": Thou seest the Hypocrites avert Their faces from thee
  4: 61 in disgust.
4: 64 We sent not an Apostle, But to be obeyed, in accordance With the
4: 64 Will of Allah. If they had only, When they were unjust To
4: 64 themselves, Come unto thee And asked Allah's forgiveness, And the
4: 64 Apostle had asked Forgiveness for them, They would have found Allah
  4: 64 indeed Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.
4: 69 All who obey Allah And the Apostle Are in the company Of those on
4: 69 whom Is the Grace of Allah,- Of the Prophets (who teach) The
4: 69 Sincere (lovers of Truth), The Witnesses (who testify), And the
4: 69 Righteous (who do good) Ah! what a beautiful Fellowship!
4: 79 Whatever good, (O man!) Happens to thee, is from Allah; But
4: 79 whatever evil happens To thee, is from thy (own) soul. And We have
4: 79 sent thee As an Apostle To (instruct) mankind: And enough is Allah
  4: 79 For a witness.
4: 80 He who obeys The Apostle, obeys Allah: But if any turn away, We
4: 80 have not sent thee To watch over Their (evil deeds).
4: 83 When there comes to them Some matter touching (Public) safety or
4: 83 fear, They divulge it. If they had only referred it To the Apostle,
4: 83 or to those Charged with authority Among them, the proper Investiga-
4: 83 tors would have Tested it from them (direct). Were it not for the
4: 83 Grace And Mercy of Allah unto you, All but a few of you Would
4: 83 have fallen Into the clutches of Satan.
4:100 He who forsakes his home In the cause of Allah, Finds in the earth
4:100 Many a refuge, Wide and spacious; Should he die As a refugee from
4:100 home For Allah and His Apostle, His reward becomes due And sure
4:100 with Allah; And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
  4:100 SECTION 15.
4:102 When thou (O Apostle) Art with them, and standest To lead them in
4:102 prayer, Let one party of them Stand up (in prayer) with thee
4:102 Taking their arms with them; When they finish Their prostrations,
4:102 let them Take their positions in the rear, And let the other party
4:102 come up- Which hath not yet prayed- And let them pray with thee ,
4:102 Taking all precautions, And bearing arms: The Unbelievers wish,
4:102 If ye were negligent Of your arms and your baggage To assault
4:102 you in a single rush, But there is no blame on you If ye put
4:102 away your arms Because of the inconvenience Of rain or because ye
4:102 are ill; But take (every) precaution For yourselves. For the
4:102 Unbelievers Allah hath prepared A humiliating punishment.
4:115 If anyone contends with The Apostle even after Guidance has been
4:115 plainly Conveyed to him, and follows A path other than that
4:115 Becoming to men of Faith We shall leave him In the path he has
4:115 chosen, And land him in Hell,- What an evil refuge?
  4:115 SECTION 18.
4:136 O ye who believe! Believe in Allah And His Apostle, And the
4:136 scripture which He Hath sent to His Apostle And the scripture
4:136 which He sent To those before (him). And who denieth Allah,
4:136 His angels, His Books, His Apostles, and the Day Of Judgment, hath
  4:136 gone Far, far astray.
4:150 Those who deny Allah And His apostles, and (those Who) wish to
4:150 separate Allah from His apostles, Saying: "We believe in some But
4:150 reject others": And (those who) wish To take a course midway,-
4:152 To those who believe In Allah and His apostles And make no
4:152 distinction Between any of the apostles, We shall soon give Their
4:152 (due) rewards: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
  4:152 SECTION 22.
4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus The son of Mary,
4:157 The Apostle of Allah":- But they killed him not, Nor crucified him,
4:157 But so it was made To appear to them, And those who differ Therein
4:157 are full of doubts, With no (certain) knowledge, But only
4:157 conjecture to follow, For of a surety They killed him not;-
4:164 Of some apostles We have Already told thee the story; Of others We
4:164 have not;- And to Mosese Allah spoke direct;-
4:165 Apostles who gave good news As well as warning, That mankind,
4:165 after (the coming) Of the apostles, should have No plea against
4:165 Allah: For Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise
4:170 O mankind! the Apostle Hath come to you in truth From Allah:
4:170 believe in him: It is best for you But if Ye rejected Faith, to
4:170 Allah Belong all things in the heavens And on earth: and Allah Is
  4:170 All-Knowing, All-Wise.
4:171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses In your religion: nor say
4:171 Of Allah aught but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary Was (no
4:171 more than) An apostle of Allah, And His Word, Which He bestowed on
4:171 Mary, And a Spirit proceeding From Him: so believe In Allah and His
4:171 apostles Say not "Trinity": desist: It will be better for you: For
4:171 Allah is One Allah: Glory be to Him: (For Exalted is He) above
4:171 Having a son. To Him Belong all things in the heavens And on earth.
4:171 And enough Is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
  4:171 SECTION 24.
5: 13 Allah did aforetime Take a Covenant from The Children of Israel,
5: 13 And We appointed twelve Captains among them. And Allah said: "I am
5: 13 With you: if ye (but) Establish regular Prayers, Practise regular
5: 13 Charity, Believe in My apostles, Honour and assist them, And loan
5: 13 to Allah A beautiful loan, Verily I will wipe out From you your
5: 13 evils, And admit you to Gardens With rivers flowing beneath; But if
5: 13 any of you, after this, Resisteth faith, he hath truly Wandered
5: 13 from the path Of rectitude,"
5: 16 O People of the Book! There hath come to you Our Apostle,
5: 16 revealing To you much that ye Used to hide in the Book, And
5: 16 passing over much (That is now unnecessary):
5: 21 Of People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, Making (things)
5: 21 clear unto you, Our Apostle, after the break In (the series of) Our
5: 21 apostles, Lest ye should say: There came unto us No bringer of glad
5: 21 tidings And no warner (from evil)" But now hath come Unto you a
5: 21 bringer Of glad tidings And a warner (from evil): And Allah hath
5: 21 power Over all things.
  5: 21 SECTION 4.
5: 35 On that account: We ordained For the Children of Israel That if
5: 35 anyone slew A person- unless it be For murder or for spreading
5: 35 Mischief in the land- It would be as if He slew the whole people:
5: 35 And if anyone saved a life, It would be as if he saved The life of
5: 35 the whole people. Then although there came To them Our Apostles
5: 35 With Clear Signs, yet, Even after that, many Of them continued to
5: 35 commit Excesses in the land.
5: 36 The punishment of those Who wage war against Allah And His Apostle,
5: 36 and strive With might and main For mischief through the land Is:
5: 36 execution, or crucifixion, Or the cutting off of hands And feet
5: 36 from opposit sides, Or exile from the land: That is their disgrace
  5: 36  In this world, and A heavy punishment is theirs In the Hereafter;
5: 44 O Apostle! let not Those grieve thee, who race Each other into
5: 44 Unbelief: (Whether it be) among those Who say: "We believe" With
5: 44 their lips but Whose hearts have no faith; Or it be among the
5: 44 Jews,- Men who will listen To any lie,-will listen Even to others
5: 44 who have Never so much as come To thee. They change the words From
5: 44 their (right) times And places; they say, "If ye are given this,
5: 44 Take it, but if not, Beware!" If anyone's trial Is intended by
5: 44 Allah, thou hast No authority in the least For him against Allah.
5: 44 For such- it is not Allah's will to purify Their hearts. For them
5: 44 There is disgrace In this world, and In the Hereafter A heavy
  5: 44 punishment.
5: 58 Your (real) friends are (No less than) Allah, His Apostle, and the
5: 58 (Fellowship Of) Believers,- those who Establish regular prayers And
5: 58 regular charity, And they bow Down humbly (in worship).
5: 59 As to those who turn (For friendship) to Allah, His Apostle, and
5: 59 the (Fellowship Of) Believers,- it is The Fellowship of Allah That
  5: 59 must cetainly triumph.
  5: 59 SECTION 9.
5: 70 O Apostle! proclaim The (Message) which hath been Sent to thee from
5: 70 thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou Wouldst not have fulfilled And
5: 70 proclaimed His Mission. And Allah will defend thee From men (who
5: 70 mean mischief). For Allah guideth not Those who reject Faith.
5: 73 We took the Covenant Of the Children of Israel And sent them
5: 73 Apostles. Every time there came To them an apostle With what they
5: 73 themselves Desired not-some (Of these) they called Impostors, and
5: 73 some they (Go so far as to) slay .
5: 78 Christ the son of Mary Was no more than An Apostle; many were The
5: 78 apostles that passed away Before him. His mother Was a woman of
5: 78 truth. They had both to eat Their (daily) food. See how Allah doth
5: 78 make His Signs clear to them; Yet see in what ways They are deluded
5: 78 Away from the truth!
5: 84 If only they had believed In Allah, in the Apostle And in what hath
5: 84 been Revealed to him, never Would they have taken Them for friends
5: 84 and protectors, But most of them are Rebellious wrong-doers.
5: 86 And when they listen To the revelation recieved By the Apostle,
5: 86 thou, wilt See their eyes overflowing With tears, for they
5: 86 Recognise the truth: They pray: "Our Lord! We believe; write us
5: 86 Down among the witnesses.
5: 95 Obey Allah, and obey the Apostle, And beware (of evil): If ye do
5: 95 turn back, Know ye that it is Our Apostle's duty To proclaim (the
5: 95 Message) In the clearest manner.
5:102 The Apostle's duty is But to proclaim (the Messege): But Allah
5:102 knoweth all That ye reveal and ye conceal.
5:107 When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah Hath revealed: come
5:107 To the Apostle": They say: "Enough for us Are the ways we found
5:107 Our fathers following." What ! even though their fathers Were void
  5:107 of knowledge And guidance?
5:112 One day will Allah Gather the apostles together, And ask: "What was
5:112 The response ye received (From men to your teaching)?" They will
5:112 say: "We Have no knowledge: it is Thou Who knowest in full All that
  5:112 is hidden."
5:114 "And behold! I inspired The Disciples to have faith In Me and Mine
5:114 Apostle: They said, 'We have faith, And do thou bear witness That
5:114 we bow to Allah As Muslims'."
6: 10 Mocked were (many) Apostles before thee; But the scoffers Were
6: 10 hemmed in By the thing that they mocked.
  6: 10 SECTION 2.
6: 34 Rejected were the Apostles Before thee: with patience And constancy
6: 34 they bore Their rejection and their wrongs, Until Our aid did reach
6: 34 Them: there is none That can alter the Words (And Decrees)of Allah.
6: 34 Already hast thou received Some account of those Apostles.
6: 42 Before thee We sent (Apostles) to many nations And We afficted
6: 42 the nations, With suffering and adversity, That they might learn
  6: 42 humility.
6: 48 We send the apostles Only to give good news And to warn: so those
6: 48 Who believe and mend (Their lives),- upon them Shall be no fear,
6: 48 Nor shall they grieve.
6:124 When there comes to them A Sign (from Allah), They say: "We shall
6:124 not Believe until we receive One (exactly) like those Received by
6:124 Allah's apostles." Allah knoweth best where (And how) to carry out
6:124 His mission. Soon Will the wicked Be overtaken by Humiliation
6:124 before Allah, And a severe punishment, For all their plots.
6:130 O ye assembly of Jinns And men! came there not Unto you apostles
6:130 from amongst you, Setting forth unto you My Signs, and warning you
6:130 Of the meeting of this Day Of yours?" They will say: "We bear
6:130 witness against Ourselves." It was The life of this world That
6:130 deceived them. So Against themselves will they Bear witness that
  6:130 they Rejected Faith.
6:131 (The apostles were sent) thus, For thy Lord would not Destroy for
6:131 their wrong-doing Men's habitations whilst Their occupants were
  6:131 unwarned.
7: 35 O ye Children of Adam! Whenever there come to you Apostles from
7: 35 amongst you, Rehearsing My Signs unto you,- Those who are righteous
7: 35 And mend (their lives),- On them shall be no fear, Nor shall they
  7: 35 grieve.
7: 43 And We shall remove From their hearts any Lurking sense of injury;-
7: 43 Beneath them will be Rivers flowing;- and they Shall say: "Praise
7: 43 be to Allah, Who hath guided us To this (felicity): never Could we
7: 43 have found Guidance, had it not been For the guidance of Allah:
7: 43 Indeed it was the truth That the Apostles of our Lord Brought unto
7: 43 us." And they Shall hear the cry: "Behold! the Garden before you!
7: 43 Ye have been made Its inheritors for your Deeds (of
  7: 43 righteousness)."
7: 53 Do they just wait For the final fulfilment Of the event? On the day
7: 53 The event is finally fulfilled Those who disregarded it Before will
7: 53 say: "The apostles Of our Lord did indeed Bring true (tidings).
7: 53 Have we No intercessors now to intercede On our behalf? Or could we
7: 53 Be sent back? Then should we Behave differently from our Behaviour
7: 53 in the past." In fact they will have lost Their souls, and the
7: 53 things They invented will leave Them in the lurch.
  7: 53 SECTION 7.
7: 61 He said:"O my people! No wandering is there In my (mind): on the
7: 61 contrary I am an apostle from The Lord and Cherisher Of the Worlds!
7: 67 He said: "O my people! I am not imbecile, but (I am) an apostle
7: 67 from The Lord and Cherisher Of the Worlds!
7: 75 The leaders of the arrogant Party among his people said To those
7: 75 who were reckoned Powerless- those among them Who believed: "Know
7: 75 ye Indeed that Salih is An apostle from his Lord?" They said: "We
7: 75 do indeed Believe in the revelation Which hath been sent Through
  7: 75 him."
7: 77 Then they ham-strung The she-camel, and insolently Defied the order
7: 77 of their Lord, Saying: "O Salih! bring about Thy threats, if thou
7: 77 art An apostle (of Allah)!"
7:101 Such were the towns Whose story We (thus) Relate unto thee: There
7:101 came indeed to them Their apostles with clear (Signs): But they
7:101 would not believe What they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah
7:101 seal up The heart of those Who reject Faith.
7:104 Moses said: "O Pharaoh! I am an apostle from The Lord of the
  7:104 Worlds,-
7:157 "Those who follow the Apostle, The unlettered Prophet, Whom they
7:157 find mentioned In their own (Scriptures);- In the Law and the
7:157 Gospel; For he commands them What is just and forbids them What
7:157 is evil: he allows Them as lawful what is good (And pure) and
7:157 prohibits them From what is bad (and impure); He releases them From
7:157 their heavy burdens And from the yokes That are upon them. So it
7:157 is those who believe In him, honour him, Help him, and follow the
7:157 Light Which is sent down with him,- It is they who will prosper.
  7:157 SECTION 20.
7:158 "Say :"O men! I am sent Unto you all , as the Apostle Of Allah,
7:158 to Whom belongeth The dominion of the heavens, And the earth:
7:158 there is no god But He : it is He that giveth Both life and death,
7:158 So believe In Allah and His Apostle, The unlettered Prophet, Who
7:158 believed in Allah And His Words: follow him That (so) ye may be
  7:158 guided."
8: 1 Thew ask thee concerning (Things taken as) spoils of war. Say:
8: 1 (Such) spoils are At the disposal of Allah And the Apostle: so
8: 1 fear Allah, and keep straight The relations between yourselves:
8: 1 Obey Allah and His Apoatle, If ye do believe."
8: 13 This because they contended Against Allah and His Apostle: If any
8: 13 contend against Allah And His apostle, Allah Is strict in
  8: 13 punishment.
8: 20 O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Apostle, And turn not away
8: 20 from him When ye hear (him speak).
8: 24 O ye who believe! Give your response to Allah And His Apostle, when
8: 24 He calleth you to that which Will give you life; And know that
8: 24 Allah Cometh in between a man And his heart, and that It is He to
8: 24 Whom Ye shall (all) be gathered.
8: 27 O ye that believe! Betray not the trust Of Allah and the Apostle,
8: 27 Nor misappropriate knowingly Things entrusted to you.
8: 41 And know that out of All the booty that ye May acquire (in war),
8: 41 A fifth share is assigned To Allah,- and to the Apostle, And to
8: 41 near relatives, Orphans, the needy, And the wayfarer,- If ye do
8: 41 believe in Allah And in the revelation We sent down to Our Servant
8: 41 On the Day of Testing,- The Day of the meeting Of the two forces:
8: 41 For Allah hath power Over all things.
8: 46 And obey Allah and His Apostle: And fall into no disputes, Lest ye
8: 46 lose heart And your power depart; And be patient and persevering:
8: 46 For Allah is with those Who patiently persevere:
8: 64 O Apostle! Sufficient Unto thee is Allah,- (Unto thee) and unto
8: 64 those Who follow Thee Among the Believers,
  8: 64 SECTION 9.
8: 65 O Apostle! rouse the Believers To the fight. If there are Twenty
8: 65 amongst you, patient And persevering, they will Vanquish two
8: 65 hundred: if a hundred, They will vanquish a thousand Of the
8: 65 Unbelievers: for these Are a people without understanding.
8: 67 It is not fitting for an Apostle That he should have Prisoners of
8: 67 war until He hath thoroughly subdued The land. Ye look On the
  8: 67  temporal goods Of this world; but Allah Looketh to the Hereafter;
8: 67 And Allah is Exalted in Might, Wise.
8: 70 O Apostle! say to those Who are captives in your hands: "If Allah
8: 70 findeth any good In your hearts, He will Give you something better
8: 70 Than what has been taken From you, and He will Forgive you: for
  8: 70 Allah Is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
8: 71 But if they have Treacherous designs against thee, (O Apostle!)
8: 71 they have already Been in treason against Allah, And so hath He
8: 71 given (Thee) power over them: And Allah is He Who hath (Full)
  8: 71 knowledge and wisdom.
9: 1 Tauba (Repentance), or Baraat (Immunity).
9: 1 A (declaration) of immunity From Allah and His Apostle, To those of
9: 1 the Pagans With whom ye have contracted Mutual alliances:-
9: 3 And an announcement from Allah And His Apostle to the people
9: 3 (Assembled) on the day Of the Great Pilgrimage, - That Allah and
9: 3 His Apostle Dissolve (treaty) obligations With the Pagans. If, then
9: 3 ye repent, It were best for you; But if ye turn away, Know ye that
9: 3 ye cannot Frustrate Allah . And proclaim A grievous penalty to
9: 3 those Who reject Faith.
9: 7 How can there be a league Before Allah and His Apostle, With the
9: 7 Pagans, except those With whom ye made a treaty Near the Sacred
9: 7 Mosque? As long as these stand true To you, stand ye true to them:
9: 7 For Allah doth love the righteous.
9: 13 Will ye not fight people Who violated their oaths Plotted to
9: 13 expel the Apostle And took the aggressive By being the first
9: 13 (to assault) you Do ye fear them? Nay, It is Allah Whom ye should
9: 13 More justly fear if ye believe!
9: 16 Or think ye that ye Shall be abandoned, As though Allah did not
9: 16 know Those among you who strive With might and main and take None
9: 16 for friends and protectors Except Allah, His Apostle, And the
9: 16 (community of) Believers? But Allah is well-acquainted With (all)
  9: 16 that ye do.
  9: 16 SECTION 3.
9: 24 Say: If it be that your fathers' Your sons your brothers Your mates
9: 24 or your kindred; The wealth that ye have gained The commerce in
9: 24 which ye fear A declinc; or the dwellings In which ye delight Are
9: 24 dearer to you than Allah Or His Apostle, or the striving In His
9: 24 cause ; then wait Until Allah brings about1273 His Decision and
9: 24 Allah Guides not the rebellious.
  9: 24 SECTION 4.
9: 26 But Allah did pour His calm On the Apostle and On the Believers
9: 26 And sent down forces which ye Saw not: He punished The Unbelievers
9: 26 thus doth He Reward those without Faith.
9: 29 Fight those who believe not In Allah nor the Last Day Nor hold that
9: 29 for bidden Which hath been forbidden By Allah and His Apostle
9: 29 Nor acknowledge the Religion Of Truth (even if they are) Of the
9: 29 People of the Book Until they pay the Jizya With willing submission
9: 29 And feel themselves subdued.
  9: 29 SECTION 5.
9: 33 It is He Who hath sent His Apostle with Guidance And religion of
9: 33 Truth To proclaim it Over all religions Even though the Pagans
  9: 33 May detest (it).
9: 54 The only reasons why Their contributions are not Accepted are:
9: 54 that they reject Allah and His Apostle ; That they come to prayer
9: 54 Without earnestness; and that They offer contributions unwellingly.
9: 59 If only they had been content With what Allah and His Apostle Gave
9: 59 them, and had said, "Sufficient unto us is Allah! Allah and His
9: 59 Apostle will soon Give us of His bounty: To Allah do we turn our
9: 59 hopes!"- (That would have been the right course).
  9: 59 SECTION 8.
9: 61 Among them are men Who molest the Prophet And say,"He is (all)
9: 61 ear ,"Say ,"He listens to what is Best for you; he believes In
9: 61 Allah has faith In the Believers and is a Mercy To those of you
9: 61 who believe": But those who molest the Apostle Will have a
  9: 61 grievous penalty.
9: 62 To you they swear by Allah In order to please you: But it is more
9: 62 fitting That they should please Allah and His Apostle If they are
  9: 62 Believers.
9: 63 Know they not that for those Who oppose Allah And His Apostle Is
9: 63 the Fire of Hell? - Wherein they shall dwell. That is the
  9: 63 supreme disgrace.
9: 65 If thou dost question them They declare (with emphasis):
9: 65 "We were only talking idly And in play ."Say:"Was it At Allah
9: 65 and His Signs And His Apostle that ye Were mocking ?"
9: 70 Hath not the story reached them Of those before them? The people of
9: 70 Noah, and 'Ad, And Thamud; the people Of Abraham the men Of
9: 70 Midian and the Cities overthrown. To them came their apostles With
9: 70 Clear Signs. It Is Not Allah Who wrongs them But they wrong
  9: 70 their own souls.
9: 71 The Believers men And women are protectors One of another:
9: 71 they enjoin What is just and forbid What is evil: they observe
9: 71 Regular prayers practise Regular charity and obey Allah and His
9: 71 apostle. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah Is Exalted
  9: 71 in Power Wise.
9: 74 They swear by Allah that they Said nothing (evil) but indeed
9: 74 They uttered blasphemy And they did it after accepting Islam; and
9: 74 they meditated 1331 A plot which they were unable To carry out:
9: 74 this revenge Of theirs was (their) only return For the bounty
9: 74 with which Allah and His Apostle hand enriched Them! If they
9: 74 repent It will be best for them ; But if they turn back
9: 74 (To their evil ways), Allah will punish them With a grievous
9: 74 penalty In this life and in the Hereafter: They shall have
9: 74 none on earth To protect or help them.
9: 80 Whether thou ask For their forgiveness Or not (their sin is
9: 80 unforgivable): If thou ask seventy times For their forgiveness,
9: 80 Allah Will not forgive them: Because they have rejected Allah and
9: 80 His Apostle; and Allah Guideth not those Who are perversely
  9: 80 rebellious.
  9: 80 SECTION 11.
9: 81 Those who were left behind (In the Tabuk expedition) Rejoiced in
9: 81 their inaction Behind the back of the Apostle Of Allah: they
9: 81 hated to strive And fight with their goods And their persons, in
9: 81 the Cause Of Allah: they said,"Go not forth in the heat." Say,"The
9: 81 fire of Hell Is fiercer in heat." If Only they could understand!
9: 84 Nor do thou ever pray For any of them that dies Nor stand at his
9: 84 grave For they rejected Allah And His Apostle ; and died In a state
  9: 84 of perverse rebellion .
9: 86 When a Sura comes down Enjoining them to believe In Allah and to
9: 86 strive and fight Along with His Apostle Those with wealth and
9: 86 influence Among them ask thee For exemption, and say: "Leave us
9: 86 (behind): we Would be with those Who sit (at home)."
9: 88 But the Apostle and those Who believe with him, Strive and fight
9: 88 with their wealth And their persons for them Are (all) good
9: 88 things: And it is they Who will prosper .
9: 90 And there were among The desert Arabs (also) Men who Made excuses
9: 90 And came to claim exemption; And those who were false To Allah
9: 90 and His Apostle (Merely) sat inactive. Soon will a grievous penalty
9: 90 Seize the Unbelievers Among them.
9: 91 There is no blame On those who are infirm Or ill or who find
9: 91 No resources to spend (On the Cause) if they Are sincere
9: 91 (in duty) to Allah And His Apostle: No ground (of complaint)
9: 91 Can there be against such As do right : and Allah Is Oft-Forgiving
  9: 91 Most Merciful.
9: 94 They will present their excuses To you when ye return To them.
9: 94 Say thou: "Present No excuses: we shall not Believe you: Allah hath
9: 94 already Informed us of the true state Of matters concerning you:
9: 94 It is your actions that Allah And His Apostle will observe: In the
9: 94 end will ye Be brought back to Him Who knoweth what is hidden And
9: 94 what is open: Then will He show you The truth of all That ye did."
9: 97 The Arabs of the desert Are the worst in unbelief And hypocrisy,
9: 97 and most fitted To be in ignorance Of the command which Allah
9: 97 Hath sent down to His Apostle: But Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
9: 99 But some of the desert Arabs Believe in Allah and the Last Day, And
9: 99 look on their payments As pious gifts bringing them Nearer to
9: 99 Allah and obtaining The prayers of the Apostle. Aye, indeed they
9: 99 bring them Nearer (to Him) soon will Allah Admit them to His
9: 99 Mercy: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
  9: 99 SECTION 13.
9:105 And say:"Work (righteousness):Soon will Allah observe your
9:105 work, And His Apostle, and the Believers : Soon will ye be brought
9:105 back To the Knower of what is Hidden and what is open: Then will He
9:105 show you The truth of all that ye did."
9:107 And there are those Who put up a mosque By way of mischief and
9:107 infidelity- To disunite the Believers- And in preparation for one
9:107 Who warred against Allah And His Apostle aforetime. They will
9:107 indeed swear That their intention is nothing But good; but Allah
9:107 doth declare That they are certainly liars.
9:120 It was not fitting For the people of Medina And the Bedouin Arabs
9:120 Of the neighbourhood, to refuse To follow Allah's Apostle, Nor to
9:120 prefer their own lives To his: because nothing Could they suffer or
9:120 do, But was reckoned to their credit As a deed of righteousness,
9:120 - Whether they suffered thirst, Or fatigue, or hunger, in the Cause
9:120 Of Allah or trod paths To raise the ire of the Unbelievers, Or
9:120 received any injury Whatever from an enemy: For Allah suffereth not
9:120 The reward to be lost Of those who do good;-
9:128 Now hath come unto you An Apostle from amongst Yourselves: it
9:128 grieves him That ye should perish: Ardently anxious is he Over
9:128 you: to the Believers Is he most kind and merciful.
10: 13 Generations before you We destroyed when they Did wrong: their
10: 13 Apostles Came to them with Clear Signs, But they would not believe!
10: 13 thus do We requite Those who sin!
10: 47 To every people (was sent) An Apsotle: when their Apostle Comes
10: 47 (before them), the matter Will be judged between them With justice,
10: 47 and they Will not be wronged.
10: 74 Then after him We sent (Many) apostles to their People: They
10: 74 brought them Clear Signs, But they would not believe What that had
10: 74 already rejected Beforehand. Thus do We seal The hearts of the
 10: 74 transgressors.
10:103 In the end We deliver Our apostles and those who believe: Thus is
10:103 it fitting on Our part That We should deliver Those who believe!
11: 59 Such were the'Ad People: They rejected the Signs Of their Lord and
11: 59 Cherisher; Disobeyed His Apostles; And followed the command Of
11: 59 every powerful, obstinate Transgressor.
11:120 All that We relate to thee Of the stories of the apostles,-With
11:120 it We make firm Thy heart: in them there cometh To thee the
11:120 Truth, as well as An exhortation and a message Of remembrance to
 11:120 those who believe.
12:109 Nor did We send before thee (As apostles) any but men Whom We
12:109 did inspire, (Men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel
12:109 Through the earth, and see What was the end Of those before them?
12:109 But the home of the Hereafter Is best, for those who do right.
12:109 Will ye not then understand?
12:110 (Respite will be granted) Until, when the apostles Give up hope
12:110 (of their people ) And (come to) think that they Were treated as
12:110 liars, There reaches them our help. And thosewhom We will are deliv
12:110 ered into safety. But never will be warded off Our punishment
12:110 from those Who are in sin.
13: 32 Mocked were (many) apostles Before thee: but I granted respite to
13: 32 the Unbelievers, And finally I punished them: Then how (terribe)
 13: 32 was My (requital!
13: 38 We did send apostles Before thee and appointed For them wives and
13: 38 children, And it was never the part Of an apostle to bring a
13: 38 Sign Except as Allah permitted (Or commanded). For each period Is
 13: 38 a Book (revealed).
 13: 43 The Unbelievers say:"No apostle Art thou." Say;"Enough For a
13: 43 witness between me And you is Allah, and such As have knowledge of
 13: 43 the Book."
14: 4 We sent an apostle Except (to teach) in the langauge Of his
14: 4 (own ) people , in order To make (things) clear to them. Now Allah
14: 4 leaves straying Those whom He pleases: And guides whom He
14: 4 pleases: And He is Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.
14: 9 Has not the story Reached you,(O people!), of those Who (went)
14: 9 before you?-Of the People of Noah, and'Ad, and Thamud?- And of
14: 9 those who (came) After them? None knows them But Allah. To them
14: 9 came Apostles with Clear (Signs); But they put their hands Up
14: 9 to their mouths, and said:"We do deny(the mission) On which ye
14: 9 have been sent, And we are really In suspicious (disquieting)
14: 9 doubt,As to that to which Ye invite us."
14: 10 Their apostles said:"Is there A doubt about Allah, The creator
14: 10 of the heavens And the earth? It is He Who invites you, in order
14: 10 That He may forgive you Your sins and give you Respite for a
14: 10 term appointed!"They said:"Ah! ye are No more than human, Like
14: 10 ourselves! Ye wish To turn us away from The (gods) our fathers
14: 10 Used to worship: then Bring us some clear authority."
14: 11 Their apostles said to them:"True, we are human Like yourselves,
14: 11 but Allah Doth graht His grace To such of His servants As He
14: 11 pleases. It is not For us to bring you An authority except as
14: 11 Allah Permits. And on Allah Let all men of faith Put their trust.
14: 13 And the Unbelievers said To their apostles:" Be sure We shall drive
14: 13 you out Of our land, or ye shall Return to our religion,"But their
14: 13 Lord inspired (This message) to them: "Verily We shall cause
 14: 13 The worng-doers to perish!
14: 44 So warn mankind Of the Day when the Wrath Will reach them: then
14: 44 will The wrong-doerssay :"Our Lord!Respite us (if only) For a short
14: 44 Term: we will Answer Thy Call, and follow The apostles!""What!
14: 44 were ye not wont To swear aforetime that ye Should suffer no
 14: 44 decline?'
14: 47 Never think that Allah would fail His apostles in His promise:
14: 47 For Allah is Exalted in Power, The Lord of Retribution.
15: 10 We did send apostles before thee Amongst the religious sects Of old
15: 11 But never came an apostle To them but they mocked him.
15: 80 The companions of the Rocky Tract Also rejected the apostles:
16: 35 The worshippers of false gods Say:"If God had so willed, We
16: 35 should not have worshipped Aught but Him-neither we Nor our fathers
16: 35 nor should We have prescribed prohibition Other than His ."So did
16: 35 those Who went before them But what is the mission Of apostles but
16: 35 to preach The Clear Message?
16: 36 For We assuredly sent Amongst every People an apostle (With the
16: 36 Command) "Serve Allah and eschew Evil": Of the people were some
16: 36 whom Allah guided and some On Whom Error became Inevitably (estab-
 16: 36 lished ). So tavel Through
16: 36 the earth, and see What was the end of those Who denied
 16: 36 (the Truth).
16: 43 And before thee also The apostles We sent Were but men to whom
16: 43 We granted inspiration: if ye Realise this not ask of those Who
 16: 43 possess the Message:
 16: 63  By Allah, We (also) sent (Our apostles ) to Peoples Before thee;
16: 63 but Satan Made, (to the wicked), Their own acts seem alluring:
16: 63 He is also their patron today. But they shall have A most grievous
 16: 63 penalty.
16:113 And there came to them An Apostle from among themsevles, But they
16:113 falsely rejected him: So the Wrath seized them Even in the midst
 16:113 Of their iniquities.
17: 15 Who receiveth guidance, Receiveth it for his own Benefit: who
17: 15 goeth astray Doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens Can bear
17: 15 the burden Of another: nor would We Visit with Our Wrath Until
17: 15 We had sent An apostle (to give warning).
17: 77 (This was Our) way With the apostles We sent Before thee:thou
17: 77 wilt find No change in Our ways.
 17: 77 SECTION 9.
17: 93 "Or thou have a house Adorned with gold, Or thou mount a ladder
17: 93 Right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe In thy
17: 93 mounting until thou Send down to us a book That we could read."
17: 93 Say:'Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- An apostle?"
 17: 93 SECTION 11.
17: 94 What kept men back From belief when Guidance Came to them, was
17: 94 nothing But this :they said, "Has Allah sent a man (Like us)
17: 94 to be (His) Apostle?"
17: 95 Say,"If there were settled, On earth, angels walking about In
17: 95 peace and quiet, We should Certainly have sent them Down from
17: 95 the heavens An angel for an apostle."
18: 56 We only send the apostles To give glad tidings And To give
18: 56 warnings: But the Unbelievers dispute With vain argument, in order
18: 56 Therewith to weaken the truth, And they treat My Signs As a jest,
18: 56 as also the fact That they are warned!
19: 51 Also mention in the Book (The story of) Moses : For he was
19: 51 specially chosen, And he was an apostle (And) a prophet.
19: 54 Also mention in the Book (The story of) Ismail: He was (strictly)
19: 54 true To what he promised, And he was an apostle (And) a prophet.
20: 47 "So go ye both to him, And say, "Verily we are Apostles sent by
20: 47 thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children Of Israel with us,
20: 47 and Afflict them not: With a Sign, indeed, Have we come fron thy
20: 47 Lord! And Peace to all Who follow guidance!
20: 96 He replied:" I saw what They saw not: so I took A handful (of dust)
20: 96 from The footprint of the Apostle, And threw it (into the calf)
20: 96 Thus did my soul suggest To me."
20:134 And if We had inflicted On them a penalty before this, They would
20:134 have said: "Our Lord! if only Thou Hadst sent us an apostle, We
20:134 should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were
20:134 Humbled and put to shame."
21: 7 Before thee, also the apostles We sent were but men , To whom
21: 7 We granted inspiration: If ye realise this not, ask Of those
21: 7 who possess the Message.
21: 25 Not an apostle did We Send before thee without This inspiration
21: 25 sent by Us To him: that there is No god but I; therefore Worship
 21: 25 and serve Me.
21: 41 Mocked were (many) Apostles before thee But their scoffers Were
21: 41 hemmed in By the thing that they mocked
 21: 41 SECTION 4.
22: 15 If any think that Allah Will not help him (His Apostle) in this
22: 15 world And the Hereafter let him Stretch out a rope To the ceiling
22: 15 and cut (himself) Off: then let him see Whether his plan
 22: 15 will remove That which enrages(him)!
22: 52 Never did We send An apostle or a prophet Before thee, but,
22: 52 when he Framed a desire, Satan Threw some (vanity) Into his
22: 52 desire: but Allah Will cancel anything (vain) That Satan throws
22: 52 in, And Allah will confirm (And establish) His Signs: For Allah
22: 52 is full of knowledge And wisdom:
22: 78 And strive in His cause As ye ought to strive. (With sincerity
22: 78 and under discipline) He has chosen you, and has Imposed no
22: 78 difficulties on you In riligion; it is the cult Of your father
22: 78 Abraham. It is He Who has named You Muslims, both before And in
22: 78 this (Revelation); That the Apostle may be A witness for you,
22: 78 and ye Be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer,
22: 78 Give regular Charity, And hold fast to Allah! He is your
22: 78 Protector- 17 The best to protect 30 And the Best to help!
23: 32 And We sent to them An apostle from among themselves, (Saying),
23: 32 "Worship Allah! Ye have no other god But Him. Will ye not Fear
 23: 32 (Him)?"
23: 44 Then sent We our apostles In succession: every time There come
23: 44 to a people Their apostle , they accused him Of falsehood:
23: 44 so We made Them follow each other (In punishment): We made them As
23: 44 a tale (that is told): So away with a people That will not
 23: 44 believe!
23: 69 Or do they not recognise Their Apostle, that they Deny him?
24: 47 They say," We believe In Allah and in the Apostle, And we obey":
24: 47 but Even after that some of them Turn away: they are not (Really)
 24: 47 Believers.
24: 48 When they are summoned To Allah and His Apostle, In order that
24: 48 he may judge Between them, behold some Of them decline (to come)
24: 50 Is it that there is A disease in their hearts ? Or do they
24: 50 doubt, Or are they in fear, That Allah and His Apostle Will deal
24: 50 unjustly with them Nay, it is they themselves Who do wrong.
 24: 50 SECTION 7.
24: 51 The answer of the Believers, When summoned To Allah and His
24: 51 Apostle . In order that he may judge between them, Is no other
24: 51 than this : They say,"We hear and We obey" It is such as these
24: 51 That will attain felicity.
24: 52 It is such as obey Allah and His Apostle. And fear Allah and do
24: 52 Right that will win In the end.
24: 54 Say: "Obey Allah, and obey The Apostle : but if ye turn Away,
24: 54 he is only responsible For the duty placed on him And ye for that
24: 54 placed On you. If ye obey him, Ye shall be on right guidance.
24: 54 The Apostle's duty is only To preach the clear (Message)."
24: 56 So establish regular Prayer And give regular Charity; And obey
24: 56 the Apostle; That ye may receive mercy.
24: 62 Only those are Believers Who believe in Allah and His Apostle:
24: 62 when they are With him on a matter Requiring collective action,
24: 62 They do not depart until They have asked for his leave; Those who
 24: 62  ask for thy leave, Are those who believe in Allah And His Apostle;
24: 62 so when They ask for thy leave, For some business of theirs, Give
24: 62 leave to those of them Whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their
24: 62 forgiveness: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
24: 63 Deem not the summons Of the Apostle among yourselves Like the
24: 63 summons of one Of you to another: Allah Doth know those of you
24: 63 Who slip away under shelter Of some excuse: then Let those
24: 63 beware who Withstand the Apostle's order Lest some trial befall
24: 63 them, Or a grievous Penalty Be inflicted on them.
25: 7 And they say: "What sort Of an apostle is this, Who eats food,
25: 7 and walks Through the streets? Why Has not an angel Been sent
25: 7 down to him To give admonition with him?
25: 20 And the apostles whom We Sent before thee were all (Men) who
25: 20 ate food And walked through the streets: We have made some of you
25: 20 As a trial for others: Will ye have patience? For Allah is
25: 20 one who Sees (all things).
 25: 20 SECTION 3.
25: 27 The Day that the wrong-doer Will bite at his hands, He will say,"
25: 27 Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path With the Apostle!
25: 30 Then the Apostle will say: "O my Lord! Truly My people took this
 25: 30 Qur-an For just foolish nonsense."
25: 37 And the people of Noah,- When they rejected the apostles, We
25: 37 drowned them, And We made them As a Sign for mankind; And we have
 25: 37 prepared For (all) wrong-doers A grievous Penalty;-
25: 41 When they see thee, They treat thee no otherwise Than in
25: 41 mockery:" Is this The one whom Allah has sent As an apostle?"
26: 21 "So I fled from you (all) When I feared you; But my Lord has
26: 21 (since Invested me with judgment (And wisdom) and appointed me As
26: 21 one of the apostles.
26: 27 (Pharaoh) said: "Truly Your apostle who has been Sent to you is
 26: 27 A veritable madman!"
26:105 The people of Noah rejected The apostles.
26:107 "I am to you an apostle Worthy of all trust:
26:123 The Ad (people) rejected The apostles.
26:125 "I am to you an apostle Worthy of all trust:
26:141 The Thamud (people ) rejected The apostles.
26:143 "I am to you an apostle Worthy of all trust..
26:160 The people of Lut rejected The apostles.
26:162 "I am to you an apostle Worthy of all trust.
26:176 The Companions of the Wood Rejected the apostles.
26:178 "I am to you an apostle Worthy of all trust.
27: 54 We also sent Lut. (As an apostle): behold, He said to his people,
27: 54 "Do ye do what is shameful Though ye see (its iniquity)?
28: 7 So We sent this inspiration To the mother of Moses: "Suckle
28: 7 (thy child), but when Thou hast fears about him, Cast him into
28: 7 the river, But fear not nor grieve: For We shall restore him To
28: 7 thee, and We shall make Him one of Our apostles."
28: 45 But We raised up (new) Generations, and long were the ages That
28: 45 passed over them; But thou wast not a dweller Among the people
28: 45 of Madyan, Rehearsing Our Signs to them; But it is We Who send
 28: 45 Apostles (with inspiration ).
28: 47 If (We had) not (sent thee To the Quraish,-in case A calamity
28: 47 should seize them For (the deeds) that their hands Have sent
28: 47 forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not Send us an
28: 47 apostle? We Should then have followed The Signs and been amongst
 28: 47 Those who believe!"
28: 59 Nor was thy Lord the one To destroy a population until He had
28: 59 sent to its Centre An apostle, rehearsing to them Our Signs :
28: 59 nor are We Going to destroy a population Except when its members
 28: 59 Practise iniquity.
28: 65 That Day (Allah) will Call to them, and say: "What was the answer
28: 65 Ye gave to the apostles?"
29: 18 "And if ye reject (the Message), So did generations before you
29: 18 And the duty of the apostle Is only to preach publicly
 29: 18 (And clearly)."
30: 9 Do they not travel Through the earth, and see What was the
30: 9 End Of those before them? They were superior to them In strength
30: 9 they tilled The soil and populated it In greater numbers than
30: 9 these Have done: there came to them Their apostles with Clear
30: 9 (Signs), (Which they rejected, to their Own destruction ): It was
30: 9 not Allah Who wronged them, but They wronged their own souls.
30: 47 We did indeed send Before thee apostles To their (respective)
30: 47 peoples, And they came to them With Clear Signs: then, To those
30: 47 who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: And it was due from
30: 47 Us To aid those who believed.
33: 12 And behold! The Hypocrites And those in whose hearts Is a disease
33: 12 (even)say:"Allah And His Apostle promised us Nothing but delusion!"
33: 21 Ye have indeed In the Apostle of Allah A beautiful pattern of
33: 21 (conduct) For anyone whose hope is In Allah and the Final Day,
33: 21 And who engages much In the praise of Allah.
33: 22 When the Believers saw The Confederate forces They said: 'This is
33: 22 What Allah and His Apostle Had promised us and Allah And His
33: 22 Apostle told us What was true ." And it Only added to their faith
33: 22 And their zeal in obedience.
33: 29 But if ye seek Allah And His Apostle and The Home of the Hereafter
33: 29 Verily Allah has prepared For the well-doers amongst you
 33: 29 A great reward.
33: 31 But any of you that is Devout in the service of Allah and His
33: 31 Apostle And works righteousness,- To her shall We grant Her
33: 31 reward twice and We Have prepared for her A generous Sustenance.
33: 33 And stay quietly in Your houses and make not A dazzling display,
33: 33 like That of the former Times Of Ignorance; and establish
33: 33 Regular Prayer and give Regular Charity; and obey Allah and His
33: 33 Apostle. And Allah only wishes To remove all abomination From
33: 33 you ye Members Of the Family, and to make You pure and spotless.
33: 36 It is not fitting For a Believer man or woman When a matter has
33: 36 been decided By Allah and His Apostle To have any option About
33: 36 their decision. If anyone disobeys Allah And His Apostle, he is
33: 36 indeed On a clearly wrong Path.
33: 40 Muhammad is not The father of any Of your men but (he is) The
33: 40 Apostle of Allah, And the Seal of the Prophets: And Allah has full
33: 40 knowledge Of all things.
 33: 40 SECTION 6.
33: 53 O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- Until leave is
33: 53 given you , For a meal, (and then) Not (so early as) to wait For
33: 53 its preparation : but when Ye are invited, enter; And when ye have
33: 53 taken Your meal, disperse Without seeking familiar talk. Such
33: 53 (behaviour) annoys The Prophet: he is ashamed To dismiss you but
33: 53 Allah is not ashamed (To tell you) the truth. And when ye Ask
33: 53 (his ladies) For anything ye want , Ask them from before A
33: 53 screen: that makes For greater purity for Your hearts and for
33: 53 theirs. Nor is it right for you That ye should annoy Allah's
33: 53 Apostle, or that Ye should marry his widows After him at any time.
33: 53 Truly such a thing is In Allah's sight an enormity.
33: 57 Those who annoy Allah and His Apostle- Allah has cursed them In
33: 57 this world and In the hereafter And has prepared for them A
 33: 57 humiliating Punishment.
33: 66 The Day that their faces Will be turned upside down In the Fire,
33: 66 they will say: "Woe to us! would that We had obeyed Allah And
 33: 66 obeyed the Apostle!"
33: 71 That He may make Your conduct whole and sound And forgive you your
33: 71 sins: He that obeys Allah And His Apostle has already Attained
 33: 71 the highest Achievenent .
34: 44 But We had not given Them Books which they could Study, nor sent
34: 44 apostles To them before thee As Warners.
34: 45 And their perdecessors rejected (The Truth); these have Not
34: 45 received a tenth Of what We had granted To those: yet when they
34: 45 rejected My apostles, how (terrible) Was My rejection (of them)!
 34: 45 SECTION 6.
35: 4 And if they reject thee, So were apostles rejected Before thee:
35: 4 to Allah Go back for decision All affairs.
35: 25 And if they reject thee, So did their predecessors, To whom came
35: 25 their apostles With Clear Signs, Books Of dark prophecies, And
35: 25 the Book Of Enlightenment.
36: 3 Thou art indeed One of the apostles,
36: 13 Set forth to them, By way of a parable, The (story of) the
36: 13 Companions Of the City. Behold, There came apostles to it.
36: 14 When We (first) sent To them two apostles, They rejected them: But
36: 14 We strengthened them With a third: they said, "Truly, we have
36: 14 been sent On a mission to you."
36: 20 Then there came running. From the farthest part Of the City, a
36: 20 man, Saying, "O my People ! Obey the apostles:
36: 30 Ah! alas for (My) servants! There comes not an apostle To them
36: 30 but they mock him!
36: 52 They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who Hath raised us up From our
36: 52 beds of repose? "(A voice will say:)" This is what (Allah) Most
36: 52 Gracious had promised, And true was the word Of the apostles!"
37: 37 Nay! he has come With the (very) Truth And he confirms
37: 37 (the Message Of) the apostles (before him).
37: 72 But We sent aforetime, Among them, (apostles) To admonish them;-
37:181 And Peace on the apostles!
38: 12 Before them (were many Who) rejected apostles,- The people of
38: 12 Noah And 'Ad , and Pharaoh The Lord of Stakes,
38: 14 Not one (of them) but Rejected the apostles, But My Punishment
38: 14 Came justly and inevitably (On them).
 38: 14 SECTION

39: 71 been proved true Against the Unbelievers!"
40: 22 That was because there came To them their apostles With Clear
40: 22 (Signs), But they rejected them: So Allah called them. To account
40: 22 for He is Full of Strength, Strict in Punishment.
40: 34 "And to you there came Joseph in times gone by With Clear Signs,
40: 34 but Ye ceased not to doubt Of the (mission) for which He had come:
40: 34 at length, When he died, ye said: 'No apostle will Allah send
40: 34 After him.' Thus doth Allah Leave to stray such as Transgress
40: 34 and live in doubt,-
40: 50 They will say:"Did there Not come to you Your apostles with Clear

40: 51 We will, without doubt, Help Our apostles and those Who believe,
40: 51 (both) In this world's life And on the Day When the witnesses
 40: 51 Will stand forth,-
40: 70 Those who reject the Book And the (revelations) with which We sent
40: 70 Our apostles: But soon shall they know,-
40: 78 We did aforetime send Apostles before thee: of them There are
40: 78 some whose story We have related to thee And some whose story
40: 78 We have not related To thee: It was not (Possible) for any
40: 78 apostle to bring a Sign except By the leave of Allah: But when
40: 78 the Command of Allah issued, The matter was decided In truth
40: 78 and justice, And there perished, There and then, those Who stood
 40: 78 on Falsehoods.

40: 83 For when their apostles Came to them With Clear Signs, they exulted
40: 83 In such knowledge (and skill) As they had; but That very
40: 83 (Wrath) at which They were wont to scoff Hemmed them in.
41: 14 Behold ,the apostles came To them, from before them And behind
41: 14 them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said," If our Lord
41: 14 Had so pleased,He would Certainly have sent down angels (To preach)
41: 14 now We reject Your mission (altogether)."
41: 43 Nothing is said to thee That was not said To the apostles before
41: 43 thee: That thy Lord has At His command (all) Forgiveness As well
 41: 43 as a most Grievous Penalty.
43: 29 Yea, I have given The good things of this life To these (men)
43: 29 and Their fathers until the Truth Has come to them, And an Apostle
 43: 29 Making things clear
43: 45 And question thou our apostles Whom We sent before thee; Did
43: 45 We appoint any deities Other than (Allah) Most Gracious, To be
 43: 45 worshipped?
 43: 45 SECTION 5.
43: 46 We did send Moses Aforetime, with Our Signs To Pharaoh and! his
43: 46 Chiefs: He said," I am an apostle Of the Lord of the Worlds."
44: 13 How shall the Message Be (effectual) for them, Seeing that an
44: 13 Apostle Explaining things clearly Has (already) come to them,-
44: 17 We did before them, Try the people of Paraoh: There came to them
 44: 17 An apostle most honourable .
44: 18 Saying:"Restore to me The servants of Allah; I am to you an
 44: 18  apostle Worthy of all trust;
46: 9 Say:"I am no bringer Of new-fangled doctrine Among the apostles,
46: 9 nor Do I know what will Be done with me or With you,. I follow
46: 9 But that which is revealed To me by inspiration; I am but a
46: 9 Warner Open and clear."
46: 35 Therefore patiently persevere As did (all) apostles Of inflexible
46: 35 purpose; And be in no haste About the (Unbelievers). On the Day
46: 35 That they see the (Punishment) Promised them (it will be) As if
46: 35 they had not Tarried more than an hour In a single day.(Thine But)
46: 35 to proclaim the Message: But shall any be destroyed Except those
 46: 35 who transgress?
47: 25 Those who turn back As apostates after Guidance Was clearly
47: 25 shown to them- The Evil One has instigated Them and buoyed them up
 47: 25 With false hopes.
47: 32 Those who reject Allah, Hinder (men) from The Path of Allah, and
47: 32 resist The Apostle, after Guidance Has been clearly shown to
47: 32 them, Will not injure Allah In the least, but He Will make their
47: 32 deeds Of no effect.
47: 33 O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and Obey The Apostle, and make
47: 33 Not vain your deeds!
48: 9 In order that ye (O men), may believe In Allah and His Apostle,
48: 9 That ye may assist And honour Him; And celebrate His praises
 48: 9 Morning and evening.
48: 12 "Nay, ye thought that The Apostle and the Believers Would never
48: 12 return to Their families; this seemed Pleasing in your hearts ,
48: 12 and Ye conceived an evil thought, For ye are a people Lost
 48: 12 (in wickedness)."
48: 13 And if any believe not In Allah and His Apostle, We have prepared,
48: 13 For those who reject Allah A Blazing Fire!
48: 17 No blame is there On the blind, nor is There blame on the lame Nor
48: 17 on one ill (if he Joins not the war): But he that obeys Allah And
48: 17 His Apostle, -(Allah) Will admit him to Gardens Beneath which
48: 17 rivers flow; And he who turns back,(Allah) will punish him With
 48: 17 a grievous Penalty.
 48: 17 SECTION 3.
48: 26 While the Unbelievers Got up in their hearts Heat ahd cant -the
48: 26 heat And cant of Ignorance,- Allah sent down His Tranquillity
48: 26 To His Apostle and to The Believers, and made them Stick close to
48: 26 the command Of self-restraint; and well Were they entitlied to it
48: 26 And worthy of it. And Allah has full knowledfge Of all things.
 48: 26 SECTION 4.
48: 27 Truly did Allah fulfil The vision for His Apostle: Ye shall enter
48: 27 the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills With minds secure, heads
48: 27 shaved, Hair cut short and without fear. For He knew what ye Knew
48: 27 not, and he granted, Besides this , a speedy victory.
48: 28 It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance And the Religion of
48: 28 Truth, To proclaim it over All religion: and enough Is Allah for
 48: 28 a Witness.
48: 29 Muhammad is the Apostle Of Allah; and those who are With him are
48: 29 strong Against Unbelievers, (but) Compassionate amongst each
48: 29 other. Thou wilt see them bow And prostrate themselves
48: 29 (In prayer), seeking Grace From Allah and (His) Good Pleasure
48: 29 On their faces are their Markes, (being) the traces Of their
48: 29 prostration. This is their similitude In the Taurat; And
48: 29 their similitude In the Gospel is: Like a seed which sends
48: 29 Forth its blade, then Makes it strong; it then Becomes thick.
48: 29 and it stands On its own stem, (filling) The sowers with wonder And
48: 29 delight. As a result, It fills the Unbelievers With rage at him.
48: 29 Allah has promised those Among them who believe And do righteous
48: 29 deeds Forgiveness, And a great Reward.
49: 1 O ye who believe ! Put not yourselves forward Before Allah and
49: 1 His Apostle; But fear Allah: for Allah Is He Who hears And knows
 49: 1 all things.
49: 3 Those that lower their voice In the presence of Allah's Apostle,-
49: 3 their hearts Has Allah tested for piety: For them is Forgiveness
 49: 3 And a great Reward.
49: 7 And know that among you Is Allah's Apostle: were he, In many,
49: 7 matters, to follow Your (wishes), ye would Certainly fall into
49: 7 misfortune: But Allah has endeared The Faith to you, and Has made
49: 7 it beautiful In your hearts, and He Has made hateful to you
49: 7 Unbelief, wickedness, and Rebellion: such indeed are Those who walk
 49: 7 in righteousness;-
49: 14 The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye Have no faith; but
49: 14 ye (Only) say, 'We have submitted Our wills to Allah.' For not yet
49: 14 has Faith Entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah And His
49: 14 Apostle, He Will not belittle aught Of your deeds : for Allah Is
 49: 14 Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
49: 15 Only those are Believers Who have believed in Allah And His
49: 15 Apostle, and have Never since doubted, but Have striven with their
49: 15 Belongings and their persons In the Cause of Allah: Such are the
 49: 15 sincere ones.
 50: 1 Qaf.
50: 1 By the Glorious Qur-an (Thou art Allah's Apostle).
50: 14 The Companions of the Wood, And the People of Tubba'; Each one
50: 14 (of them) rejected The apostles, and My warning Was duly
 50: 14 fulfilled (in them).
51: 52 Similarly, no apostle came To the People before them But they
51: 52 said (of him) In like manner, "A sorcerer, or One possessed"
54: 9 Before them the People Of Noah rejected (their apostle): They
54: 9 rejected Our servant, And said," Here is One possessed!"' and he
 54: 9 Was driven out .
57: 7 Believe in Allah And His Apostle, And spend (in charity) Out of
57: 7 the (substance) Whereof He has made you Heirs. For, those of you
57: 7 Who believe and spend (In charity),- for them Is a great Reward.
57: 8 What cause have ye Why ye should not believe In Allah?- And the
57: 8 Apostle Invites you to believe In your Lord, and has Indeed taken
57: 8 your Covenant, If ye are men of faith.
57: 19 And those who believe In Allah and His apostles- They are the
57: 19 Sincere (Lovers of Truth), and The Witnesses (who testify),
57: 19 In the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward And their
57: 19 Light, But those who reject Allah And deny Our Signs, They are the
 57: 19 Companions Of Hell-Fire.
 57: 19 SECTION 3.
57: 21 Be ye foremost (in seeking) Forgiveness from your Lord, And a
57: 21 Garden (of Bliss), The width whereof is As the width of Heaven
57: 21 and earth, Prepared for those who believe In Allah and His
57: 21 apostles: That is the Grace of Allah, Which He bestows on whom He
57: 21 pleases: and Allah is The Lord of Grace abounding.
57: 25 We sent aforetime Our apostles with Clear Signs And sent down with
57: 25 them The Book and the Balance (Of Right and Wrong), that men
57: 25 May stand forth in justice; And We sent down, Iron, In which is
57: 25 (material for) Mighty war, as well as Many benefits for mankind,
57: 25 That Allah may test who It is that will help, Unseen, Him and His
57: 25 apostles; For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might
57: 25 (And able to enforce His Will).
 57: 25 SECTION 4.
57: 27 Then, in their wake, We followed them up With (others of)
57: 27 Our apostles: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, And
57: 27 bestowed on him The Gospel: and We ordained In the hearts
57: 27 of those Who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the
57: 27 Monasticism which they invented For themselves, We did not
57: 27 Prescribe for them: (We commanded) only The seeking for the Good
57: 27 Pleasure of Allah; but that They did not foster As they should
57: 27 have done. Yet We bestowed, on those Among them who believed,
57: 27 Their (due) reward, but Many of them are Rebellious transgressors.
57: 28 Oye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe In His Apostle and He
57: 28 will Bestow on you a double Portion of His Mercy: He will provide
57: 28 for you A Light by which ye Shall walk (straight In your path),
57: 28 and He Will forgive you (your past): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving,
 57: 28 Most Merciful:
58: 4 And if any has not (The wherewithal). He should fast for Two
58: 4 months consecutively Before they touch each other. But if any is
58: 4 unable To do so, he should feed Sixty indigent ones. This, that ye
58: 4 may show Your faith in Allah And His Apostle. Those are limits
58: 4 (set By) Allah. For those who Reject (Him), there is A grievous
 58: 4 Penalty.
58: 5 Those who resist Allah And His Apostle will be Humbled to dust,
58: 5 as were Those before them: for We Have already sent down Clear
58: 5 Signs. And the Unbelievers (Will have) a humiliating Penalty,-
58: 8 Turnest thou not thy sight Towards those who were Forbidden secret
58: 8 counsels Yet revert to that which They were forbidden (to do)?
58: 8 And they hold secret counsels Among themselves for iniquity And
58: 8 hostility and disobedience To the Apostle. And when They come to
58: 8 thee They salute thee, Not as Allah salutes thee, (But in crooked
58: 8 ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah Punish us
58: 8 for our words ?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn,
58: 8 And evil is that destination!
58: 12 O ye who believe! When ye consult The Apostle in private, Spend
58: 12 something in charity Before your private consultation. That will
58: 12 be best for you, And most conducive To purity (of conduct). But
58: 12 if ye find not (The where withal) Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most
 58: 12 Merciful.
58: 13 Is it that ye are Afraid of spending sums In charity before your
58: 13 Private consultation (with him )? If, then, ye do not so, And Allah
58: 13 forgives you, Then (at least) establish Regular prayer; practise
58: 13 Regular charity; and obey Allah and His Apostle : And Allah is
58: 13 well-acquainted Will all that ye do.
 58: 13 SECTION 3.
58: 20 Those who resist Allah and His Apostle Will be among those
 58: 20 Most humiliated.
58: 21 Allah has decreed: "It is I and My apostle who must prevail"
58: 21 For Allah is One Full of Strength, Able to enforce His Will.
58: 22 Thou wilt not find Any people who believe In Allah and the Last
58: 22 Day, Loving those who resist Allah and His Apostle Even though they
58: 22 were Their fathers or their sons, Or thier brothers, or Their
58: 22 kindred. For such He has written Faith In their hearts and
58: 22 strengthened Them With a spirit From Himself. And He Will admit
58: 22 them to Gardens Beneath which Rivers flow, To dwell therein (for
58: 22 ever). Allah will be well pleased With them, and they With Him They
58: 22 are the Party Of Allah. Truly it is The Party of Allah that Will
 58: 22 achieve Felicity.
59: 4 That is because they Resisted Allah and His Apostle; And if anyone
59: 4 resists Allah, Verily Allah is severe In Punishment.
59: 6 What Allah has bestowed On His Apostle (and taken Away) from them
59: 6 for this Ye made no expedition With either cavalry or camelry:
59: 6 But Allah gives power To His apostles over Any He pleases: and
59: 6 Allah Has power over all things.
59: 7 What Allah has bestowed On His Apostle (and taken Away) from
59: 7 the people Of the townships,-belongs To Allah,- to His Apostle
59: 7 And to kindred and orphans, The needy and the wayfarer; In
59: 7 order that it may not (Merely) make a circuit Between the wealth
59: 7 among you. So take what the Apostle Assigns to you, and deny
 59:  7  yourselves that which he Withholds from you. And fear Allah;
59: 7 for Allah Is strict in Punishment.
59: 8 (Some part is due) To the indigent Muhajirs, Those who were
59: 8 expelled From their homes and their property, While seeking Grace
59: 8 from Allah And (His) Good Pleasure, And aiding Allah and His
59: 8 Apostle : Such are indeed The sincere ones:-
61: 5 And remember, Moses said To his people: 'O my people! Why do ye
61: 5 vex and insult Me, though ye know That I am the apostle Of Allah
61: 5 (sent) to you?" Then when they went wrong, Allah let their hearts
61: 5 go wrong For Allah guides not those Who are rebellious
 61: 5 transgressors.
61: 6 And remember, Jesus The son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel!
61: 6 I am the apostle of Allah (Sent) to you confirming The Law
61: 6 (which came) Before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Apostle To
61: 6 come after me, Whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to
61: 6 them With Clear Signs, They said," This is Evident sorcery!"
61: 9 It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance And the Religion
61: 9 of Truth, That he may proclaim it over all religion, Even though
61: 9 the Pagans May detest (it).
 61: 9 SECTION 2.
61: 11 That ye believe in Allah And His Apostle, and that Ye strive
61: 11 (your utmost) In the Cause of Allah, With your property And
61: 11 your persons: That will be best for you, If ye but knew!
62: 2 It is He Who has sent Amongst the Unlettered An apostle form
62: 2 among Themselves, to rehearse To them His Signs, To sanctify them
62: 2 and To instruct them in Scripture And Wisdom,- although They had
62: 2 been, before, In manifest error;-
63: 1 When the Hypocrites Come to thee, they say," We bear witness
63: 1 that thou Art indeed the Apostle Of Allah." Yea, Allah Knoweth that
63: 1 thou art Indeed His Apostle, And Allah beareth witness That the
63: 1 Hypocrites are Indeed liars.
63: 5 And when it is said To them," Come, the Apostle Of Allah will pray
63: 5 for your Forgiveness," they turn aside Their heads, and thou
63: 5 wouldst See them turning away Their faces in arrogance.
63: 7 They are the ones who say, "Spend nothing on those Who are with
63: 7 Allah's Apostle, To the end that they May disperse (and quit
63: 7 Medina). But to Allah belong The treasures of the heavens
63: 7 And the earth; but The Hypocrites understand not .
63: 8 They say, "If we Return to Medina, surely The more honourable
63: 8 (element) Will expel there from the meaner," But honour belongs
63: 8 to Allah And His Apostle, and To the Believers; but The Hypocrites
 63: 8 know not.
 63: 8 SECTION 2.
64: 6 That was because there Came to them apostles With Clear Signs But
64: 6 they said: "Shall (mere) human beings Direct us ?" So they rejected
64: 6 (The Message) and turned away. But Allah can do without (them):
64: 6 And Allah is Free of all needs Worthy of all praise.
64: 8 Believe, therefore, in Allah And His Apostle, and In the Light
64: 8 which We Have sent down. And Allah Is well acquainted With
64: 8 all that ye do.
64: 12 So obey Allah, and obey His Apostle; but if Ye turn back, the
64: 12 duty Of Our Apostle is but To proclaim (the Message) Clearly
 64: 12 and openly.
65: 8 How many populations That insolently opposed The command of their
65: 8 Lord And of His apostles, Did We not then Call to account,- To
65: 8 severe account?- And We imposed on them An exemplary Punishment.
65: 11 An Apostle, who rehearses To you the Signs of Allah Containing
65: 11 clear explanations, That he may lead forth Those who believe And do
65: 11 righteous deeds From the depths of Darkness Into Light. And those
65: 11 who Believe in Allah and work Righteousness, He will admit To
65: 11 Gardens beneath which rivers Flow, to dwell therein For ever:
65: 11 Allah has indeed Granted for them A most excellent provision.
69: 10 And disobeyed (each) The apostle of their Lord; So He punished
69: 10 them With an abundant Penalty.
 69: 40  That this is Verily, the word Of an honoured apostle;
69: 44 And if the apostle Were to invent Any sayings in Our name,
72: 23 "Unless I proclaim what I received from Allah And His Messages:
72: 23 For any that disobey Allah And His Apostle,- for them Is Hell:
72: 23 they shall dwell Therein for ever."
72: 27 "Except an apostle Whom He has chosen: And then He makes A band
72: 27 of watchers March before him And behind him ,
73: 15 We have sent to you, (O men!) an apostle, To be a witness
73: 15 concerning you, Even as We sent An apostle to Pharaoh.
73: 16 But Pharaoh disobeyed The apostle; so We Seized him with A
 73: 16 heavy punishment .
77: 11 And when the apostles Are (all) appointed a time (To collect);-
91: 13 But the apostle of Allah Said to them: "It is A She camel of Allah!
91: 13 And (bar-her not From) having her drink!"

2: 91 When it is said to them: "Believe in what Allah Hath sent down". 2: 91 they say "We believe in what was sent down To us": yet they reject 2: 91 All besides , even if it be Truth confirming what is with them. 2: 91 Say: "Why then have ye slain The prophets of Allah in times Gone 2: 91 by, if ye did indeed Believe?" 2:136 Say ye: "We believe In Allah, and the revelation Given to us, and 2:136 to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, And the Tribes, and that given To 2:136 Moses and Jesus and that given To (all) Prophets from their Lord: 2:136 We make no difference Between one and another of them: And we bow 2:136 to Allah (in Islam)." 2:188 And do not eat up Your property among yourselves For vanities, nor 2:188 use it As bait for the judges, With intent that ye may Eat up 2:188 wrongfully and knowingly A little of (other) people's property. 2:188 SECTION 24. 2:189 They ask thee Concerning the New Moons. Say: they are but signs 2:189 To mark fixed periods of time In (the affairs of) men, And for 2:189 Pilgrimage. It is no virtue if ye enter Your houses from the back: 2:189 It is virtue if ye fear Allah, Enter houses Through the proper 2:189 doors: And fear Allah: That ye may prosper. 2:246 Hast thou not Turned thy vision to the Chiefs Of the Children of 2:246 Israel After (the time of) Moses? They said to a Prophet (That was) 2:246 among them: "Appoint for us a King, that we May fight in the 2:246 cause of Allah." He said: "Is it not possible, If ye were commanded 2:246 To fight, that ye Will not fight?" They said; "How could we refuse 2:246 To fight in the cause of Allah, Seeing that we were turned out Of 2:246 our homes and our families?" But when they were commanded To fight, 2:246 they turned back,Except a small band Among them. But Allah Has full 2:246 knowledge of those Who do wrong. 2:247 Their Prophet said to them: "Allah hath appointed Talut as king 2:247 over you." They said: "How can be Exercise authority over us When 2:247 we are better fitted Than he to exercise authority, And he is not 2:247 even gifted With wealth in abundance?" He said: "Allah hath chosen 2:247 him above you, And hath gifted him Abundantly with knowledge And 2:247 bodily prowess: Allah Granteth His authority to whom He pleaseth. 2:247 Allah careth For all, and He knoweth All things." 2:248 And (further) their Prophet Said to them: " A Sign Of his authority 2:248 Is that there shall come To you the Ark of the Covenant, With 2:248 (an assurance) therein Of security from your Lord, And the relics 2:248 left By the family of Moses And the family of Aaron, Carried by 2:248 angels. In this is a Symbol For you if ye indeed Have faith." 2:248 SECTION 33. 3: 21 As to those who deny The Signs of Allah, and in defiance Of right; 3: 21 slay the Prophets, And slay those who teach Just dealing with 3: 21 mankind, Announce to them a grievous Penalty. 3: 39 While he was standing In prayer in the chamber, The angels called 3: 39 unto him: "Allah doth give thee Glad tidings of Yahya, Witnessing 3: 39 the truth Of a Word from Allah, and (be Besides) noble, chaste, And 3: 39 a Prophet,- Of the (goodly) company Of the righteous." 3: 79 It is not (possible) That a man, to whom Is given the Book, And 3: 79 Wisdom, And the prophetic office, Should say to people: "Be ye my 3: 79 worshippers Rather than Allah's: On the contrary (He would say): 3: 79 "Be ye worshippers Of Him Who is truly The Cherisher 3: 79 of all: For ye have taught The Book and ye Have studied it 3: 79 earnestly." 3: 80 Nor would he instruct you To take angels and prophets For Lords 3: 80 and Patrons. What! would he bid you To unbelief after ye have Bowed 3: 80 your will (To Allah in Islam)? 3: 80 SECTION 9. 3: 81 Behold! Allah took The Covenant of the Prophets, Saying: "I give 3: 81 you A Book and Wisdom; Then comes to you An Apostle confirming What 3: 81 is with you; Do ye believe him And render him help." Allah said: 3: 81 "Do ye agree, And take this My covenant As binding on you ?" They 3: 81 said : "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, And I am with you 3: 81 Among the witnesses." 3: 84 Say: "We believe In Allah, and in what Has been revealed to us And 3: 84 what was revealed To Abraham, Ismail, Issac, Jacob, and the Tribes, 3: 84 And in (the Books) Given to Moses, Jesus, And the Prophets, From 3: 84 their Lord: We make no distinction Between one and another Among 3: 84 them, and to Allah do Bow our will (in Islam)." 3:112 Shame is pitched over them (Like a tent) wherever They are found, 3:112 Except when under a covenant (Of protection) from Allah And from 3:112 men; they draw On themselves wrath from Allah, And pitched over 3:112 them Is (the tent of) destitution. This because they rejected The 3:112 Signs of Allah, and slew The Prophets in defiance of right; This 3:112 because they rebelled And transgressed beyond bounds. 3:146 How many of the Prophets Fought (in Allah's way) And with them 3:146 (fought) Large bands of Godly men? But they never lost heart If 3:146 they met with disaster In Allah's way,nor did They weaken (in will) 3:146 Nor give in. And Allah Loves those who are Firm and steadfast. 3:161 No prophet could (ever) Be false to his trust. If any person is so 3:161 false, He shall, on the Day Of Judgment, restore What he misappro- 3:161 priated; Then shall every soul Receive its due,-Whatever it earned, 3:161 And none shall be Dealt with unjustly. 3:181 Allah hath heard The taunt of those Who say: "Truly, Allah Is 3:181 indigent and we Are rich!"- We shall Certainly record their word 3:181 And (their act) of slaying The Prophets in defiance Of right, and 3:181 We shall say: "Taste ye the Penalty Of the Scorching Fire! 3:184 Then if they reject thee, so were rejected Apostles Before thee, 3:184 who came With Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, And the Book 3:184 of Enlightenment. 4: 2 To orphans restore their property (When they reach their age), Nor 4: 2 substitute (your) worthless things For (their ) good ones; and 4: 2 devour not Their substance (by mixing it up) With your own. for 4: 2 this is Indeed a great sin. 4: 5 To those weak of understanding Make not over your property, Which 4: 5 Allah hath made A means of support for you, But feed and clothe 4: 5 them Therwith, and speak to them Words of kindness and justice. 4: 6 Make trial of orphans Until they reach the age Of marriage; if then 4: 6 ye find Sound judgment in them, Release their property to them; But 4: 6 consume it not wastefully, Nor in haste against their growing up. 4: 6 If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, But if 4: 6 he is poor, let him Have for himself what is Just and reasonable. 4: 6 When ye release their property To them, take witnesses In their 4: 6 presence: But all-sufficient Is Allah in taking account. 4: 7 From what is left by parents And those nearest related There is a 4: 7 share for men And a share for women, Whether the property be small 4: 7 Or large,- a determinate share. 4: 8 But if at the time of division Other relatives, or orphans, Or 4: 8 poor, are present, Feed them out of the (property), And speak to 4: 8 them Words of kindness and justice. 4: 9 Let those (disposing of an estate) Have the same fear in their 4: 9 minds As they would have for their own If they had left a helpless 4: 9 family behind: Let them fear Allah, and speak Words of appropriate 4: 9 (comfort): 4: 10 Those who unjustly Eat up the property Of orphans, eat up A Fire 4: 10 into their own Bodies: they will soon Be enduring a blazing Fire! 4: 10 SECTION 2. 4: 24 Also (prohibited are) Women already married, Except those Whom your 4: 24 right hands possess. Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) 4: 24 against you: Except for these, all others Are lawful, provided Ye 4: 24 seek (them in marriage) With gifts from your property,- Desiring 4: 24 chastity, not lust. Seeing that ye derive Benefit from them, give 4: 24 them Their dowers (at least) As prescribed; but if, After a dower 4: 24 is prescribed, ye agree Mutually (to vary it), There is no blame on 4: 24 you, And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. 4: 29 O ye who believe! Eat not up your property Among yourselves in 4: 29 vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade By mutual 4: 29 good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) Yourselves: for verily Allah hath 4: 29 been to you Most Merciful! 4: 33 To (benefit) everyone, We have appointed Shares and heirs To 4: 33 property left By parents and relatives. To those also, to whom Your 4: 33 right hand was pledged, Give their due portion: For truly Allah is 4: 33 witness To all things. 4: 33 SECTION 6. 4: 46 Of the Jews there are those Who displace words From their (right) 4: 46 places, And say: "We hear And we disobey" And "Hear what is not 4: 46 Heard" and "Raina"; With a twist of their tongues And a slander to 4: 46 Faith. If only they had said; "We hear and we obey"; And "Do hear"; 4: 46 And "Do look at us": It would have been better For them, and more 4: 46 proper; But Allah hath cursed them For their Unbelief; and but few 4: 46 Of them will believe. 4: 69 All who obey Allah And the Apostle Are in the company Of those on 4: 69 whom Is the Grace of Allah,- Of the Prophets (who teach) The 4: 69 Sincere (lovers of Truth), The Witnesses (who testify), And the 4: 69 Righteous (who do good) Ah! what a beautiful Fellowship! 4: 78 "Wherever ye are, Death will find you out, Even if ye are in towers 4: 78 Built up strong and high!" If some good befalls them, They say, 4: 78 "This is from Allah" But if evil, they say, "This is from thee" 4: 78 (O Prophet). "Say: "All things are from Allah." But what hath come 4: 78 To these people, That they fail To understand A single fact? 4: 83 When there comes to them Some matter touching (Public) safety or 4: 83 fear, They divulge it. If they had only referred it To the Apostle, 4: 83 or to those Charged with authority Among them, the proper Investiga- 4: 83 tors would have Tested it from them (direct). Were it not for the 4: 83 Grace And Mercy of Allah unto you, All but a few of you Would 4: 83 have fallen Into the clutches of Satan. 5: 22 Remember Moses said To his people: "O my people! Call in 5: 22 remembrance the favour Of Allah unto you, when He Produced prophets 5: 22 among you, Made you kings, and gave You what He had not given To 5: 22 any other among the peoples. 5: 25 (But) among (their) God-fearing men Were two on whom Allah had 5: 25 bestowed His grace: They said: "Assault them At the (proper) Gate: 5: 25 When once ye are in, Victory will be yours: 5: 47 It was We Who revealed The Law (to Moses); therein Was guidance and 5: 47 light. By its standard have been judged The Jews, by the Prophet 5: 47 Who bowed (as in Islam) To Allah's Will, by the Rabbis And the 5: 47 Doctors of Law: For to them was entrusted The protection of Allah's 5: 47 Book, And they were witnesses there to: Therefore fear not men, But 5: 47 fear Me, and sell not My Signs for a miserable price If any do fail 5: 47 to judge By (the light of) what Allah Hath revealed, they are (No 5: 47 better than) Unbelievers. 5: 80 Say: "O People of the Book! Exceed not in your religion The bounds 5: 80 (of what is proper), Trespassing beyound the truth, Nor follow the 5: 80 vain desires Of people who went wrong In times gone by,- who misled 5: 80 Many, and strayed (themselves) From the even Way. 5: 80 SECTION 11. 6: 73 It is He Who created The heavens and the earth In true 6: 73 (proportions); The day He saith, "Be," Behold! it is. His word Is 6: 73 the Truth. His will be The dominion the day The trumpet will be 6: 73 blown. He knoweth what ye Keep secret and whay ye Make known. For 6: 73 He Is the Wise, well acquainted (With all things). 6: 89 These were the men To whom We gave The Book, and Authority, And 6: 89 prophethood: if these (Their descendants) reject them, Behold! We 6: 89 shall entrust Their charge to a new People Who reject them not. 6: 90 Those were the (prophets) Who received Allah's guidance: Copy the 6: 90 guidance they received; Say: "No reward for this Do I ask of you: 6: 90 This is no less than A Message for the nations." 6: 90 SECTION 11. 6:141 It is He Who produceth Gardens, with trellises And without, and 6:141 dates, And tilth with produce Of all kinds, and olives And 6:141 pomegranates, Similar (in kind) And different (in variety): Eat 6:141 of their fruit In their season, but render The dues that are proper 6:141 On the day that the harvest Is gathered. But waste not By excess: 6:141 for Allah Loveth not the wasters. 6:152 And come not nigh To the orphan's property, Except to improve it, 6:152 Until he attain the age Of full strength; give measure And weight 6:152 with (full) justice;- No burden do We place On any soul, but that 6:152 Which it can bear;- Whenever ye speak, speak justly, Even if a near 6:152 relative Is concerned; and fulfil The Covenant of Allah: Thus doth 6:152 He command you, That ye may remember. 7: 94 Whenever We sent a prophet To a town, We took up Its people in 7: 94 suffering And adversity, in order That they might learn humility. 7:157 "Those who follow the Apostle, The unlettered Prophet, Whom they 7:157 find mentioned In their own (Scriptures);- In the Law and the 7:157 Gospel; For he commands them What is just and forbids them What 7:157 is evil: he allows Them as lawful what is good (And pure) and 7:157 prohibits them From what is bad (and impure); He releases them From 7:157 their heavy burdens And from the yokes That are upon them. So it 7:157 is those who believe In him, honour him, Help him, and follow the 7:157 Light Which is sent down with him,- It is they who will prosper. 7:157 SECTION 20. 7:158 "Say :"O men! I am sent Unto you all , as the Apostle Of Allah, 7:158 to Whom belongeth The dominion of the heavens, And the earth: 7:158 there is no god But He : it is He that giveth Both life and death, 7:158 So believe In Allah and His Apostle, The unlettered Prophet, Who 7:158 believed in Allah And His Words: follow him That (so) ye may be 7:158 guided." 8: 27 O ye that believe! Betray not the trust Of Allah and the Apostle, 8: 27 Nor misappropriate knowingly Things entrusted to you. 8: 72 Those who believed, And adopted exile, And fought for the Faith, 8: 72 With their property And their persons, In the cause of Allah, As 8: 72 well as those Who gave (them asylum And aid,- these are (all) 8: 72 Friends and protentors, One of another. As to those Who believed 8: 72 But came not into exile, Ye owe no duty Of protection to them Until 8: 72 they come into exile; But If they seek Your aid in religion, It is 8: 72 your duty To help them, Except against a people With whom ye have 8: 72 A treaty of mutual alliance: And (remember) Allah Seeth all that 8: 72 ye do. 9: 61 Among them are men Who molest the Prophet And say,"He is (all) 9: 61 ear ,"Say ,"He listens to what is Best for you; he believes In 9: 61 Allah has faith In the Believers and is a Mercy To those of you 9: 61 who believe": But those who molest the Apostle Will have a 9: 61 grievous penalty. 9: 73 O Prophet! strive hard against The Unbelievers and the Hypocrites 9: 73 And be firm against them Their abode is hell An evil refuge indeed 9:113 It is not fitting, For the Prophet and those Who believe, that they 9:113 should Pray for forgiveness For Pagans, even though They be of kin, 9:113 after it is Clear to them that they Are companions of the Fire. 9:117 Allah turned with favour To the Prophet, 9:117 the Muhajirs, And the Ansar,- who followed Him in a time of 9:117 distress, After that the hearts of a part Of them had nearly 9:117 swerved (From duty); but He turned To them (also): for He is Unto 9:117 them Most Kind, Most Merciful. 11: 87 They said:" Oh Shu'aib! Does thy (religion of) prayer Command thee 11: 87 that we Leave off the worship which Our fathers practised, or That 11: 87 we leave off doing What we like with our property? Truly, though 11: 87 art the one That forbeareth with faults And is right- minded!" 12: 79 He said:"Allah forbid That we take other than him With whom we 12: 79 found Our property: indeed (If we did so), we should Be acting 12: 79 wrongfully." 12: 79 SECTION 10. 13: 8 Allah doth know what Every female(womb) doth bear, By how much 13: 8 the wombs Fall short (of their time Or number )or do exceed. 13: 8 Every single thing is before His sight, in (due) proportion. 15: 29 "When I have fashioned him (In due proportion) and breathed Into 15: 29 him of My spirit, Fall ye down in obeisance Unto him." 15: 72 Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), In their wild intoxication, They 15: 72 wander in distraction To and fro. 16: 44 (We sent them) with Clear Signs And Books of dark prophecies; 16: 44 And We have sent down Unto thee (also) the Message; That thou 16: 44 mayest explain clearly To men what is sent For them, and that they 16: 44 May give thought. 17: 34 Come not nigh To the orphan's property Except to improve it . 17: 34 Until he attains the age Of full strength; and fulfil (Every) 17: 34 engagement For (every) engagement Will be enquired into 17: 34 (On the Day of Reckoning). 17: 55 And it is your Lord That knoweth best all beings That are in 17: 55 the heavens And on earth: We Did bestow on some Prophets More 17: 55 (and other) gifts Than on others: and We gave To David the 17: 55 (gift Of ) the Psalms. 18: 42 So his fruits (and enjoyment) Were encompassed (with ruin), And 18: 42 he remained twisting And turning his hands Over what he had spent 18: 42 On his property, which had(Now) tumbled to pieces To its very 18: 42 foundations, And he could only say, "Woe is me!Would I had 18: 42 Never ascribed partners To my Lord and Cherisher!" 19: 30 He said:"I am indeed A servant of Allah: He hath given me 19: 30 Revelation and made me A prophet; 19: 41 (Also) mention in the Book (The story of ) Abraham:He was a 19: 41 man of Truth. A prophet. 19: 49 When he had turned away From them and from those Whom they 19: 49 worshipped besides Allah, We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, 19: 49 and each one Of them We made a prophet. 19: 51 Also mention in the Book (The story of) Moses : For he was 19: 51 specially chosen, And he was an apostle (And) a prophet. 19: 53 And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) 19: 53 a prophet. 19: 54 Also mention in the Book (The story of) Ismail: He was (strictly) 19: 54 true To what he promised, And he was an apostle (And) a prophet. 19: 56 Also mention in the Book The case of Idris: He was a man of truth 19: 56 (And sincerity), (and) a prophet: 19: 58 Those were some Of the prophets on whom 19: 58 Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of 19: 58 Adam, And of those whom We Carried (in the Ark) With Noah, and of 19: 58 The posterity of Abraham And Israel-of those Whom We guided and 19: 58 chose. Whenever the Signs Of (Allah) Most Gracious Were rehearsed 19: 58 to them, They would fall down In prostrate adoration And in tears, 21: 5 "Nay,"they say,"(these are) Medleys of dreams !- Nay, He forged 21: 5 it!-Nay He is (but) a poet! Let him then bring us A Sign like 21: 5 the ones That were sent to (Prophets) of old!" 22: 42 If they treat thy (mission) As false, so did the Peoples Before 22: 42 them (with their Prophets),- The People of Noah And Ad and Thamud; 22: 52 Never did We send An apostle or a prophet Before thee, but, 22: 52 when he Framed a desire, Satan Threw some (vanity) Into his 22: 52 desire: but Allah Will cancel anything (vain) That Satan throws 22: 52 in, And Allah will confirm (And establish) His Signs: For Allah 22: 52 is full of knowledge And wisdom: 23: 23 Further, We sent a long line Of prophets for your instruction) 23: 23 We sent Noah to his people: He said, "O my people! Worship Allah! 23: 23 Ye have No other god but Him: Will ye not fear (Him)?" 23: 39 (The prophet) said: "O my Lord! help me: For that they accuse me 23: 39 Of falsehood." 25: 2 He to Whom belongs The dominion of the heavens And the earth, no 25: 2 son Has He begotten, nor has He A partner in His dominion: It 25: 2 is He Who created All things, and ordered them In due proportions. 25: 31 Thus have We made For every prophet an enemy Among the sinners: 25: 31 but enough Is thy Lord to guide And to help. 29: 27 And We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, and ordained Among his 29: 27 progeny Prophethood And Revelation, and We Granted him his reward 29: 27 In this life; and he was In the Hereafter (of the company) Of the 29: 27 Righteous. 29: 44 Allah created the heavens And the earth in true (proportions): 20 29: 44 Verily in that is a Sign 30 For those who believe. 29: 44 SECTION 5. 30: 28 He does propound To you a similitude From your own (experience); 30: 28 Do ye have partners Among those whom your right hands Possess, 30: 28 to share as equals In the wealth We have Bestowed on you? Do ye 30: 28 Fear them as ye fear Each other? Thus do We Explain the Signs 30: 28 in detail To a people that understand. 30: 39 That which ye lay out For increase through the property Of 30: 39 (other) people, will have No increase with Allah: But that which 30: 39 ye lay out For charity, seeking The Countenance of Allah, 30: 39 (Will increase): it is These who will get A recompense multiplied. 30: 58 Verily We have propounded For men, in this Qur-an, Every kind of 30: 58 Parable: But if thou bring to them Any Sign the Unbelievers 30: 58 Are sure to say, "Ye Do nothing but talk vanities ." 32: 9 But He fashioned him In due proportion, and breathed Into him 32: 9 something of His spirit. And He gave You (the faculties of) 32: 9 hearing And sight and feeling (And understanding): Little thanks 32: 9 do ye give! 33: 1 O prophet! Fear Allah And hearken not To the Unbelievers And 33: 1 the Hypocrites: Verilly Allah is full Of knowledge and wisdom. 33: 6 The Prophet is closer To the Believers than Their own selves, 33: 6 And his wives are Their mothers. Blood-relations Among each other 33: 6 have Closer personal ties, In the Decree of Allah Than (the 33: 6 Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: Nevertheless do ye 33: 6 What is just to your Closest friends: such is The writing in the 33: 6 Decree (Of Allah). 33: 7 And remember We took From the Prophets thier Covenant As (We did) 33: 7 from thee: From Noah, Abraham, Moses And Jesus the son of Mary: 33: 7 We took from them A solemn Covenant: 33: 13 Behold! A party among them Said:"Ye men of Yathrib! Ye cannot 33: 13 stand (the attack)! Therefore go back! "And a band of them Ask 33: 13 for leave of the Prophet Saying, "Truly our houses Are bare and 33: 13 exposed, "though They were not exposed: They intended nothing but 33: 13 To run away. 33: 28 O Prophet! say To thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire The life 33: 28 of this world And its glitter, -then come ! I will provide for 33: 28 your Enjoyment and set you free In a handsome manner. 33: 30 O Consorts of the Prophet! If any of you were guilty Of evident 33: 30 unseemly conduct The punishment would be Doubled to her and that 33: 30 21 Is easy for Allah. 30 33: 32 O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any Of the (other ) 33: 32 women: If ye do fear (Allah) Be not too complaisant Of speech 33: 32 lest one In whose heart is A disease should be moved With 33: 32 desire: but speak ye A speech (that is) just. 33: 38 There can be no difficulty To the Prophet in what Allah has 33: 38 indicated to him As a duty. It was The practice (approved) Of Allah 33: 38 Amongst those of old That have passed away. And the command of 33: 38 Allah is a decree determinted. 33: 40 Muhammad is not The father of any Of your men but (he is) The 33: 40 Apostle of Allah, And the Seal of the Prophets: And Allah has full 33: 40 knowledge Of all things. 33: 40 SECTION 6. 33: 45 O Prophet! We have Made lawful to thee Thy wives to whom thou Hast 33: 50 paid their dowers; And those whom thy Right hand possesses out of 33: 50 The prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; And daughters 33: 50 of thy paternal Uncles and aunts, and daughters Of thy maternal 33: 50 uncles And aunts who migrated (From Mecca) with thee; And any 33: 50 believing woman Who dedicates her soul To the Prophet if the 33: 50 Prophet Wishes to wed her; -this Only for thee and not For the 33: 50 Believers (at large); We know what We have Appointed for them 33: 50 as to Their wives and the captives Whom their right hands Possess; 33: 50 -in order that There should be no difficulty For thee. And 33: 50 Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 33: 53 O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- Until leave is 33: 53 given you , For a meal, (and then) Not (so early as) to wait For 33: 53 its preparation : but when Ye are invited, enter; And when ye have 33: 53 taken Your meal, disperse Without seeking familiar talk. Such 33: 53 (behaviour) annoys The Prophet: he is ashamed To dismiss you but 33: 53 Allah is not ashamed (To tell you) the truth. And when ye Ask 33: 53 (his ladies) For anything ye want , Ask them from before A 33: 53 screen: that makes For greater purity for Yo
