Philip was a member of Ashland Baptist Church for 36 Years prior to His death.He was a Truck Farmer all of His life as His father before Him was.They sold their Produce on the Richmond,Virginia market,17Th. & 6 Th. Street Markets.

Medical: Philip went to bed early the night of His death.His wife Emma was down stairs doing some ironing and when She got through She went to bead only to find him cold. He had died that quick with no sound from Him.He died at age 56 years.
