Martha Gentry Kersey

Martha was a tailor and made suits for some of the wealthy men of the county.One was state senator Wickham.

Martha was from King & Queen Co.,Va. according to a letter from Aunt Ruth, her grand daughter.

Martha married Ballard Kersey, son of Fleming Kersey and Janet Ballard Kersey, about 1835 in Hanover, Virginia. (Ballard Kersey was born in 1812, died on Sep 13, 1880 in Hanover County, Virginia and was buried in Kersey Family Cemetery in Kersey Family Farm State Rt.798 Hanover, Virginia.)
