The marriage of
Miss Margaret Letitia Keener of
Mechanicsville, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ronald L. Keener of Mechan-
icsville, to Jonathan Warren Gate-
wood, Esquire, of King William, son
of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Gatewood Jr.
of King William, took place April 15,
2000, at Sharon Baptist Church. Dr.
Robert C. Brizendine of Hillsboro,
N.C., officiated.
The bride is the granddaughter of
Mrs. Margaret C. Keener of Me-
chanicsville and the late Mr. Frank
Keener of Seminole, Fla., and the
late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A.
Lipscomb Jr. of King William. 'I'he
groom is the grandson of Mr. and
Mrs. W.1'. Gatewood Sr., and the
late Mr. and Mrs. John GLilasky, all
of King William.

by her father.
Mrs. Lelah Sheldon was inatron of
honor and Miss Rhoda-Lea Kceiiei-
was maid of honor, both sisters of
the bride. Miss Alicia Lipscomb and
Miss Lauren Lipscomb, cousins of
the bride, and Miss Judy Lewis and
Miss Virginia Loh, both friends of
the bride, were bridesmaids. Miss
f,ainey Sheldon, niece of the bride,
and Miss Kristin Hancherick, friend
of the bride, were flower girls.
Mr. W. T. Gatewood was his son's
best man. Mr. Hugh Townsend III,
cousin of the groom, Mr. Scott (;arb-
er, friend of the groom, Mr. Robert
Sheldon, brother-in-law of the bride,
and Mr. Michael Chartier and Mr.
Timothy Allen, both cousins of the
bride, were groomsmen. Mr. Chris-
topher Dennison, friend of the bride,
was the ring bearer.

Margaret married Jonathan Warren Gatewood, son of Mr. W. T. Gatewood Jr. and Mrs. W. T. Gatewood Jr., on Apr 15, 2000.
