Died at a local hospital June 14, 1951, Mrs. Josephine Day Priddy, widow of the late Henry W. Priddy, of Peaks, VA. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Myrtle P. Smith and Mrs. Lenoia P Loving; two grandchildren. Otha Howard Smith and Mrs. Gene Loving Farmer of Richmond, VA; also three great-grandchildren. Remains will rest at her home where funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 1951, at 3:30 o'clock with interment in Lebanon Church Cemetry.

Josephine married Henry W. Priddy, son of Ezekiel Priddy and Mary C. Kersey Priddy, on Oct 17, 1889. (Henry W. Priddy died on Dec 9 in His Home at Peaks , Virginia and was buried lebanon Church Cemetery in Hanover County, Virginia.)
