JORDAN Frances Vaughan Jordan, 87, died November 15, 2001 after a long illness. She was the widow of Fred Jordan. She is survived by three sisters, Marian V. Betts of Woodinville, Wash., Mary Lucille Ashe and Thelma V. Wood, both of Richmond; two brothers, Charles B. Vaughan of Carlisle, Penn. and James R. Vaughan and his wife, Gaynel of Virginia Beach; also many nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by two brothers, Freddie and Floyd Vaughan. Friends may call at the Reid Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Signal Hill Memorial Park. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association.
Frances married Wilson Clay Chapman, son of Ollie Ragland Chapman and Blanche Willie Kersey Chapman. (Wilson Clay Chapman was born on Dec 29, 1915 in Hanover County, Virginia.)
