Ezekiel served the South faithfully for four years in the war between the states.He was a member of the "First Virginia Regiment , Company D or I ? ".He received four wounds in the war , one of the bullets still remains in His body and one is in the possession of His family , who prize it for His true patriotism. He had one brother,Lee Priddy of Elmont, Virginia. He was a member of Lebanon M.E.Church and the pastor at the time of his death was Rev. Crowder
Ezekiel married Mary C. Kersey Priddy, daughter of Henry Kersey and Mary W. Kersey. (Mary C. Kersey Priddy died on Feb 20 in Her home Near Peaks Hanover County, Virginia.)
