E:\Scans\Elenor Thurston\Myrtle King Smith's wedding announcement .JPG . This wedding invitation lists Myrtle's mother as Mrs. Viola M. King and no mention of her father . Her father must have passed on by the time of the wedding and that was the reason he was not mentioned . I think that Viola's husband was a son of William Jordan King . This would make Myrtle a first cousin to Stuart Kersey Sr. (my father) which he was . My problem is , I do not know which son he was .
Myrtle married Jeremiah N. Smith on Nov 27, 1925 in Richmond , Virginia.
