   General Notes:

Elmore did not have any children by his first marriage.He spent most of His life as a logger and a logger forman.His career was spent in the wooded areas of the south east.He moved to the Richmond,Virginia area about 1928, because of the lack of work in the Savanah,Georgia area.Due to His physical health He left the logging business and went to work for Miller Manufacturing Company in Richmond,Virginia.Prior to His moving to Richmond the home of He and His wife Ora,on the island of Isle Of Hope,Georga,had burned to the ground.The fire was caused by water boiling over on a oil cook stove and spreading fire through out the house.The fire was devastating financially and due to the following financial depression, they were never able to own another home.Elizabeth was born to him late in His life and being His only child He was proud of her.I had to ask Him for Betty's hand in marrage.He seemed to be pleased and allowed Me to marry Her.

   Research Notes:

In the period of time about 1936 Elmore was visited by his nephew, while the family was living on east 9th. street .His nephew was the son of his only sibling ,a sister, that we do not know her given name or her married name nor do we know the name of his nephew. During the visit he told Elmore that he and his wife had just had a new baby. As a gift for the new arrival, he gave him five dollars .This is thought to be the only child of Elmore's sister. There is no memory of any contact with this nephew again. The thought is that he lived some where in the Richmond,Virginia area. It is thought that Elmore was born at Blood Creek , Bauford County , North Carolina .He registered at Williamston , North Carolina to vote at age 21 years . He voted for Cleveland in his first election .

   Medical Notes:

Elmore had many strokes during later life and survived them. He lived the life of an invalid for the last 8 or 10 Yrs. of his life.

Elmore married Arhonton[Ora] Balasio Warren, daughter of John Balasio Sr. and Jannie Elizabeth Tueten Or Tuten Balasio Elliott, on Dec 3, 1919 in Savannah, Georgia. (Arhonton[Ora] Balasio Warren was born on Oct 2, 1892 in New Orleans, Louisiana, died on Mar 18, 1974 in Forrest Hill Nurseing Home, Richmond, Virginia and was buried maury Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.)

   Marriage Notes:

This was Elmore and Ora's second marriage to other mates.Elmore was first married to Ora's oldest sister Mary . They had no children.Ora was first married to George Cottier they had two children, George Junior and Walter.Elmore and Ora were married December 3 , 1919 by Rev. John Wilder, Minister of Calvery Baptist Church Savannah , Georgia .

Elmore also married Mary Balasio Warren.
