WOOLDRIDGE John Roland Wooldridge, son of the late Richard Washington Wooldridge, and life long resident of Chesterfield County, died November 15, 1977. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eleanor Childress Wooldridge; a son, Richard Lush Wooldridge of Midlothian; three daughters, Eleanor Mae Dowdy, Maxine W. Kittle both of Richmond, Mary W. Rudd of Midlothian; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. His remains rest at theJoseph W. Bliley Funeral Home Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. Interment in Dale Memorial Park. Mr. Wooldridge was a member and former Deacon Of Tomahawk Baptist Church and taught the Men's Bible Class for a number of years.
John married Eleanor May Childress Wooldridge, daughter of John Wesley Childress Sr. and Effie Lush Childress, on Dec 1, 1916.
