Died Monday, May 14, 1979, Mr. Francis Aubrey Clarke, widower of the late Lena Childress Clarke, of 1711 Westwood Ave. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, His remains rest at the Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home., 3rd. & Marshall Sts., where there will be a Christian Wake Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. Funeral at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Thursday at 12 noon Interment Mt.Calvary.

Francis married Lena Bell Childress Clarke, daughter of John Wesley Childress Sr. and Effie Lush Childress. (Lena Bell Childress Clarke was born on Sep 28, 1888 in Manchester, VA, baptized in 5th.Street Methodist Church, Manchester, Virginia, died on Jul 17, 1970 in Richmond, Va and was buried mt.Calvary Cemetery in Richmond, Va.)
