Product Names

There are many English like words made in Japan as names of products though I don't include them into my Janglish word list.
Most famous one is WALKMAN. The word is adopted all over the world as is the product. I've read a story that Mr. Morita suggested the name and insisted it while the advisers objected saying they must not creat such a weird word.

How about those below? Will they be accepted?

Calpis
  • It might sound as Cow Piss.
  • カルピスは発音によっては Cow Piss （牛のおしっこ）に聞こえ るとか・・・
    		•  Pocari Sweat
  • This is a kind of sports drink. But drinking sweat may not be very appealing.
    　　　　 　
  • Sweatはアセ。英語を母国語にする人にとって汗を飲むというのは あまり良い気持ちはしないそうです。

  • This is powdered cream for coffee although it might sounds creepy.
  • Creepには嫌な奴という意味があります。Creapyと言えば、ゾワワ〜っ ていう感じでしょうか。

  • This is a Chocolate even though it may sound as a body part, colon.
    　　　　　
  • コロンって日本語ではかわいい響きですが、colonには「結腸」という 意味があります。

  • Nakedは裸です。英語を話す人たちにはどう聞こえるのでしょう？　  ダイハツはアメリカでもこの車を"Naked"と言う名前で売れるので しょうか？

  • Then how about Nude?
  • ヌードという言葉に対して無神経になってしまって良いのでしょうか？　  子供だって飲むでしょうに。

    Naive (Shampoo and hair conditioner)
  • In Star Wars Episode One Lord Sedius said "Queen Amidara is young and naive."
