MISSION STATEMENT: To provide quality products and workmanship enabling our customers to safely enjoy sailing at a fair price. To continue to build trust from the community as being an honest, knowledgeable, and fair distributor of new and used boats as well as a provider of hull and motor repairs. Sailing Knowledge
The crew of the Sailboat Shop are devoted sailors with over 77 years of experience. They hold numerous national and state regatta titles. In order to stay on top of the sailing industry some of the shop crew are members of: The AZ Yacht Club, Lake Pleasant Sailing Club, Hobie Fleet 66, MultiHull Fleet 42, Friends of Rio Salado and U.S. Sailing.
Parts
Regularly stocked Items Include: Blocks, Line, Cleats, Rigging, Cables made to Order, Replacement parts, Used parts, Sails, Line, Publications, Charts, Books, Video Tapes, and Custom Canvas Orders. A close business relationship with numerous boat part suppliers has been established allowing the Sailboat Shop to special order items that are not regularly stocked in the store.
Service
The Sailboat Shop has the ability to complete motor or hull service repairs on sight. The services include: Fiberglass, Gel Coat Repair, Trailer Repair, Brakes, Welding, General Boat Service, Sails Replacement and Restoration, and Electronics.
Consignment Sales and Boat Storage
For the sailor who is trying to sell their boat, the Sailboat Shop will display and regularly clean the boat for a small monthly fee. For those only wishing to store their boat, storage is available. The boats are all kept in a fenced area.
Trade-Up Guarantee
The Sailboat Shop offers a 100% trade-up policy to customers who purchase a new boat.
Basic Sailing Course
The Basic Sailing Course is taught by a certified sailing instructor. It was designed to teach the new sailor: Terms and Definitions, Gear and Equipment, Safety, Rules of the Road, Chart Reading, Maneuvering, Boat Handling, Anchoring, and Basic Knots.
