Winter 2007
As in most of the other season, the 2006-2007 winter was occupied with
several (winter) track meets. It also had a couple of very
nice ice
climbing trips, and quite a few days of locl skiing. There
was also several Devils' hockey games, and of course the addition of
the new family member: Kari's new Saturn Ion (car). The
above pictures shows our snowy backyard, along with Missy-Mutt using
her keen sense of hearing to make sure that nothing was trying to sneak
up on us.
The next couple of pictures were taken on a some of the local skiing.
One of them shows the top of Blue Mountain (in Pennsylvania), while the
other shows Kerry.
As mentioned there was of course winter track, and Devils' games and
the next photos show.
In addition, Kerry also had some car trouble on a business trip down in
Maryland early in the winter, and had to leave his car there for a
while. The ONLY rent-a-car available, was a huge pickup
truck. The kids loved in (for its stay), and for once it made
getting the Christmas tree an easy task. Also, as mentioned
earlier, Kari did get a new car, and below is the first picture of it
after we got it home.
We took the last picture right after the snows melted (making the yards
VERY soggy). Apparently, every bird on the East Coast decided to
roost in our and our neighbor's yards, as the below picture indicates.
