Spring 2004
The Spring was taken up largely by soccer and baseball, but besides those
things we also did quite a bit of
biking and even made it to Six Flags (Great Adventure). Rhea had her
third birthday party at the Duke Estates in
late March, and the weather was glorious and we got some nice biking in.
This was quite a contrast to her 2nd birthday
party, during which we had snow flurries!! The really neat aspect
of that day (this year) was that
the previous year, we had given the bicycle trailer that I used with our
kids when they were young to Billy and Sudha for Rhea. On that day,
both Tom and Kari took Rhea on bike rides, with her in the very trailer
that they rode in only a few years earlier.
Below you can see Tom (#13) giving Rhea a ride, while Kari runs along side.
In the other picture, you can see
that they seem to have traded places.
