Galena Park High School Re-Union (class of 1974)

Kerry's graduating High School class had its 30th (yes that a number that's bigger than all of a person's fingers
and toes) this past November (2004).  Due to multiple conflicts (soccer of course being one of them), only Kerry
went down there, and even then it was a whirl wind tour.  He arrived in Houston around 4 PM on Saturday and it
started at 6:30.  Of course it went until 4 AM (no, no ... no wild partying, just of bunch of us went out to IHOP after it
was over around midnight and we sat around talking, and eating things that were high in cholesterol).  Then on Sunday
(after VERY little sleep) he visited with a couple of good friends and his parents.  However, he flew
out that day (Sunday) to get back to New Jersey.  He was actually in Texas LESS than 24 hours.  It was a short trip, but
it was REALLY, REALLY nice to see and catch up with so many folks!!

Since Kerry  go a last minute flight it was a convoluted and changing planes ordeal.  As such he fly out of New Jersey around 7 AM.
When he left for the airport (around 5 AM) it was snowing in Jersey.  The folks at the re-union were complaining about it being cold - it was
in the low 50s in the Houston area!!  Duh!!  Below are a few shots of some of the folks at the re-union.

The middle picture below shows Rodney and Cindi Bachtel, while the last picture shows Kerry's parents' cockatiel, Spud.
