Coffman - Fall 2006 Page
Usually, the Fall is my favorite time of the year: Halloween, cooling
temperatures, and of course the fall foliage (leaves changing).
2006 was no exception.
Much of the Fall was dominated by Kari running Cross-Country (for
the first time). She did great getting 8th in the
County. As it turns out Fall ended up being a great climbing season,
in that Kerry made it out on real rocks 7 or 8 times during the
Fall!! In addition, Kari and Kerry had a GREAT covered bridge
bike ride (through part of Buck's County Pennsylvania and New Jersey -
along the Delaware River). This was a spectacular ride.
Also, Kari had the chance to go to Montreal and Quebec City (with the
French "department" at her high school), and she had a a great time.
Below are two pictures that show the high school girls' Cross-Country
team at one of the big meets.

Next is a picture of Tom (on one of bike rides he and his father took),
followed by a picture of our own "skunk-cat" (aka Freckles) atop of the
house.

The next five pictures were taken on our covered bridge bike
ride. You can see Kari in front of one of the bridges, and a
stream and little bridge that we had to cross along one of the "country
roads" we took, and another one of the covered bridges on our
route, then a picture of Kari and her father at about the half way
point, and then finally a nice shot of one of those "country roads".

Here are two pictures from the Montreal/Quebec City trip. The
first one was taken at the Olympic village (from the tower) and one can
see the bio-sphere.
Also, there is a shot of a horse drawn carriage in old Montreal (right
in front of the famous Pizzadelic). Lastly, is a shot of
Kari in NYC. She and her
Dad went in to see Heartbreak House (a George Bernard Shaw play).
