Once again most of Kerry's diving was with his dive club, MUD (or Metuchen
Underwater Divers). The club was very active with a trip to
the Florida Keys, a white water rafting trip at the headwaters of the
Hudson, a trip into NYC to see Spamalot, numerous local charters
(off the Jersey shore), our second trip to dive the wrecks in the St.
Lawrence Seaway (in Canada), three "bottle dives", our annual picnic,
and our holiday party/banquet.
For some reason, Don seemed to be in the majority of our local dive
pictures and five of these are shown below. The first one shows
Don working on some of Paul's equipment, while the second picture shows
Don in the water (off the Blue Fathoms).

Below we again see Don. First with Sue, and secondly with the
Blue Fathom's mate (as we were heading to a second dive site).

Also, here is a shot of Cap'n Tony with Sue as she's getting ready to
roll in off the Blue Fathom.

Despite, appearances, there were several other folks that actually came
on some of the local MUD dives. Below you can see Kyle with his first
bug (you can also see Cap'n tony's son), and the Kyle and Tim on the
way out of the inlet. Next one can see Paul with a bug, and
then Jody getting ready to make his famous "I'm using running shoes"
dive.

Perhaps the highlight of the dive season was the trip up to the St.
Lawrence Seaway (click
here to see the 2005 St. Lawrence trip) . Below is a shot of
most of the Mudders on the trip, followed by a shot of Kerry (taken by
Chris) that shows Kerry at the propellor of one of the wrecks.

Lastly, are a couple of interesting pictures. The first one shows
one of the Blue Fathom's mates coming back aboard with a "giant" mussel
on his pole-spear: "the mighty hunter returns!" Last year
(2005) we were on a dive on the Blue Fathom when a violent
thunder/lightning storm rolled in (while we were on a dive). I
was the last one in and when I got back to the anchor line, there was
indeed an interesting note that Cap'n Tony had sent down to me. You
have to remember that I had NO idea that the weather had turned, and
hence had no idea for the reason for the note! This year we
actually found the slate with the with that note on the boat, and the
last picture shows the infamous note.
