Maxime Gingras was the first acquistion for the
Kansas City Outlaws, a team which didn't even officially exsist at the time. Gingras
was acquired from Richmond in exchange for the first and second round expansion
draft picks of the Outlaws.
Gingras was named the ECHL rookie and goalie
of the year for the 1998-99 season.
The Quebec City, Quebec native had a 2.97 GAA and .900 save percentage as the top goalie for Richmond during the 2003-2004 season, leading them to the Eastern Conference Title.
