Russ and Diane Parker Russ and Diane Parker brought porfessional hockey back to Kansas City after over a decade long absence from the KC sports scene. The Parkers owned a sports holding company called Brahen Holdings, Ltd. where they had baseball and hockey teams. The Parkers are from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. they currently own the Regina Pats of the WHL.

Dan and Pam DeVos
Dan and Pam DeVos purchased the Kansas City Blades from the Parkers in March of 1996. Dan is co-owner of the American Hockey League's Grand Rapids Griffins. He also owns the Arena Football League's Grand Rapids Rampage. He also its on the board of the Orlando Magic basketball team. Dan is vice president of corporate affairs for Amway Corporation. The DeVos family is from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
