Jean-Sebastien Aubin began in the ECHL, but worked his way to the Penguins' farm team, and then to the NHL. He played parts of 6 seasons with Pittsburgh, including one as their starting goaltender. He then signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs. After spending the majority of the 2007–08 Season with the Los Angeles Kings, he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks at the trading deadline for a 7th round pick. During this same season, Aubin was featured in an Amp Energy Drink commercial, where he was in a Yo Momma "shootout" against Buffalo Sabres Goalie Ryan Miller.
