4 Basic Principles for the unification of Mind and Body

These Basic principles form the foundation of the Ki-Aikido

  1. Keep One Point
  2. Relax Completely
  3. Keep weight underside
  4. Extend Ki

Principles to keep the One Point

  1. Do not feel the lower abdomen
  2. Do not feel the weight of the body on your feet
  3. Do not feel your breath
  4. Let everything be absorbed in the One Point
  5. Send all the power from the One Point

Principles to Relax Completely

  1. Put the power of each portion of the body in its natural place
  2. Relax without loss of power
  3. Keep the greatest position for your body
  4. Keep the strongest position for your body
  5. Do not be aggressive

Principles to Keep Weight underside

  1. Keep a comfortable position
  2. Do not feel the weight of your body
  3. Let the Ki expand to its maximum
  4. React at the right moment in the right way
  5. Perceive with clearness

Principles to Extend Ki

  1. Do not feel the body
  2. Feel the centrifugal force
  3. Have a gentle expression
  4. Keep the calmest possible position
  5. Be free and clear
