Welcome to Double Delight, home of the LaMancha Dairy Goats. We are located in south Florida on a 10-acre farm. Double Delight was founded in 1995 with one LaMancha Dairy Goat named Angel. Angel was one week old when we brought her home from the Florida State Fair. She was so cute and delightful! Little did I know that she would change our lives forever. The following year I purchased another LaMancha "kid", Eight Ball and soon discovered that their personalities were as diverse as their breeding. Angel is a crossbred mix of four different goat breeds; LaMancha, Saanen, Nubian and Boer. Eightball is a purebred registered LaMancha dairy goat. Ironically, their personalities reflect their breeding "status", hence the name "Double Delight" was born. The following year I bred Angel to a Saanen buck and Julianna and Anjul, our first twins were born. The year after that I bred Eight Ball to a registered LaMancha buck and Peppermint Ball was born. Somewhere in between I decided I wanted to raise dairy goats. Then along came Eckshar from the herd "Glen Mythos". Eckshar is everything we wanted in a breeding registered buck. He won reserve champion twice as a junior at a buck show in Gainesville. The odessey continues..... this year seven kids were born, triplets from Eight Ball, twins from Julianna, and another set of twins from Peppermint.
