Greenhills Today
Greenhills has lived up to the expectations of its planners. It is still a warm friendly community where neighbors care about neighbors. A few of the original pioneer settlers
remain. Many of their children live in the village and have raised their families here. New young couples are discovering what a great place it is to bring up children. The library,
shops, post office, doctor, dentist, swimming pool, par three golf course, tennis courts, middle, elementary and parochial schools are all a short walk or bike-ride away. The
streets are safe and the local police are friendly. The fire department and life-squad are operated by highly trained volunteers. On Greenhill's southern border lies Winton
Woods with its 2,000 acre park offering boating, fishing, bike-hike trails, horseback riding school, picnic areas, camp grounds and two state-of-the-art golf courses. Council
members may be neighbors. The Mayor and Village Manager are always helpful. For anyone interested in group activities there are Scout Troops, Women's Club, Swimming
Team, Kiwanis, The American Legion, Blockwatch, Art Club, Flower-crafters, and the Historical Society. Two large shopping malls and the movies are just a ten minute drive
away. Downtown Cincinnati with its Performing Arts Center, Music Hall, Universities, Art Museum, Historical and Natural History Museums are thirty minutes away by Metro
bus or automobile. One can say with complete assurance, " Greenhills is a great place to live."
