THE LEGEND OF THE CABBAGE PATCH KIDS
Many years ago, a young boy named Xavier happened upon an enchanted Cabbage Patch, where he found very special Little People who call themselves Cabbage Patch Kids.
To help fulfill the Cabbage Patch Kids dream of having families with whom to share their love, Xavier set about building a special place known as BabyLand General, where the kids remain until each is chosen for adoption.

THE STORY OF THE CABBAGE PATCH KID PREEMIE
Well now, if you're wondering just what Preemies are and how they came to be in the Cabbage Patch, it happened just like this.
It was late spring and Bunny Bees buzzed about sprinkling their magic crystals over the budding cabbages. Summer seemed close at hand, and every day the Cabbage Patch Kids asked Colonel Casey, the stork, when he would start delivering the new crop of kids. Finally, he gathered them all around and explained that nature took its time with special things. "Those young-uns are still too tiny to be on their own. They need time to grow in their own special place."
But the very next morning the kids and Colonel Casey awoke to a chilling frost. It was Blackberry Winter and they had to get the new crop of kids out of the cold and into the shelter of BabyLand General. All day long they worked, and when the last one was tucked in snug and warm Colonel Casey said, "They're all premature, but with extra special care, they'll do just fine." "Preemie!" said Baby Dodd, the littlest of the kids. They all laughed. "That's right," said Colonel Casey, "Preemies!"
