- While
the latest update to the site can be found on the homepage, we
thought it might be helpful to have the previous updates on their
own page so everyone can see what was updated when.
- And
quite frankly, Larraine kept insisting she needed to prove that
she had been working on the site.

- Updates
as of 15 September, 2001
- As
you can tell from the main page presented upon entering the web
site from all directions, we are attempting to do our small part
to assist in any way we can in the horrific atrocity that has
taken place almost literally at our doorstep. I hope and know
that everyone is united in their efforts, and everyone here in
New York certainly feels the love. Again, immesurable thanks
to all the police, fire fighters, emergency personnel, soldiers,
volunteers, and others assisting at ground zero and throughout
the city.

- Really
minor updates so far with school and work and just a chaotic
home condition that have limited Larraine's ability to work to
much for this site, but there are a few things that should be
noted:

- With
the demise of ListBot, Larraine has moved everyone to Yahoo!
Groups, as you can see above.

- Her
muses have been sporadic, so writing has been a slow and painful
process, so she is focusing most of her efforts on translation,
and thus has completed more chapters from Violinist of Hameln.

- Most
of the other changes have been format changes to make the site
easier to read and navigate (mostly for her when updating).

- Enjoy
what is here and I'll let you know more as it arises!

- I
don't believe there is ever a dull moment here at Larraine's
Paradise. Whether crises or happy moments, things are always
on the move. As is this web site now. Initially we were unaffected
with the change from Xoom to Nbci, but as things stand now, we
are going to have to move the entire site. Multiple ad banners
that pile on top of each other as you enter each site, or URL's
that don't change to match the site visitors have entered made
navigation through Larraine's Paradise impossible and unbearable.
So we're moving to Larraine's other account over at AT&T.

Happy
New Year! A little late, but all of us here would like to wish
everyone a prosperous and happy new year, and hope you had a
wonderful holiday.
Well, the site is now completely updated and revamped, and it
will make updating the site easier and hopefully facilitate their
occuring more often. She also has learned to back up what she
has done, so we don't foresee any more information losses.
The World's Worst Manga Translations - Violinist of Hameln Site
is back up! All the information was lost, so Larraine had to
start from scratch, so you'll probably notice that only the first
three chapters are up. It's a start, and her skills have improved.
Look forward to more translations soon.
Fight!! Ranma 1/2, chapter 6 is currently being written as we
speak, so look forward to it soon.

- On
behalf of Larraine and all of us who work to keep this site up,
I would like to apologize on the tremendous delay on updating
this site, and in particular, on the World's Worst Manga Translations
- Violinist of Hameln site being unavailable.

- This
year has been quite trying. With full time school and work, and
typical computer fiascos notwithstanding, working on the site,
and revamping it, as was Larraine's original goal, was pushed
off until summer.

- The
summer unfortunately, took an even worse turn. Over the summer,
her father took ill and subsequently passed away. Quite obviously,
Larraine was in no condition to work on anything. But having
returned to New York, and life returning to its normal hectic
schedule as it must, she has started working on the site again.
We just ask your patience and understanding as everything, and
everyone, starts to find its way back.

- Well,
it looks as though everyone survived the Y2K dilemma with minimal
problems. My apologies for the delay in updating. As usual, real
life seems to limit what we all would like to accomplish. Larraine
has been battling flu after flu lately. One of the hazards of
working outdoors around children in winter, I suppose. But she's
finally on the road to recovery, and she has been trying to keep
busy in the few hours of consciousness she's had.

- A
new songfic, Full of Grace, is available in Meiji Kenkaku Romantan
Songfiction. And on a surprising happy note, (God Must Have Spent)
A Little More Time On You was nominated for Best Songfic/Vidfic
in the Rurouni Kenshin Readers' Choice Fanfiction Awards for 1999!

- And
quite finally, Chapter 5, Promises Made, is now available in
Fight!! Ranma 1/2!

- A
quick note for those who are awaiting the Violinist of Hameln
translations. Once again, Larraine is tinkering with the format
of the entire site, mostly minor, but is doing some major reformatting
of the translation pages, which will hopefully make translating/transcribing
for Larraine easier and faster. Unfortunately there is no definite
date as to when it will all be available, except for... soon.
