In June I drove to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, to take a computer training class. I left a day early and made an overnight stop in Gettysburg, visiting the National Military Park and Eisenhower home before completing the journey. The class and my hotel were just a few minutes from Valley Forge, so I also visited where General Washington and the Continental Army wintered in 1777-78.
