Montserrat Trip November 2004

Here are some pictures from our trip to Montserrat in November 2004.  We flew via San Juan to Antigua and spent the night at the Royal Antiguan.  Then we took the morning ferry to Montserrat.  We stayed at Providence Estate, which is a beautiful villa in northwestern Montserrat.  Peter and I operated in the CQWW DX CW contest and made 6,100 contacts.  We were assisted greatly by Keith Stone Greaves, who helped us get our VP2M licenses and made sure that everything went smoothly.  It was also a pleasure to meet Trond, a ham from Norway who was staying at Gingerbread Hill guest house less than 1/4 mile away.
