| Within these linked pages I intend to inform thru text and pictures,current info on lakes and rivers in Oregon.I have lived and fished here all of my 53yrs.Wildlife photography and landscapes are a bonus and some of the better photos will appear here.By choice it will be kept simple and easy to follow for the average person like me.....><> ----------------------------------------------- .************************************************* A little history on Siltcoos Lake 'Boris Karloff' aka Frankenstein' had a house on the lake that burned down due to an electrical fire in 1958. ***************************************************** Also of note,one of the most sucessful fishing tackle company founders'Luhr Jensen' had a home on Siltcoos Lake for many years..... ***************************************************** Picture at right is Magic Reservoir yellow perch, Fairfield,Idaho.Wish they were all that big!!!! **************************************************** The pic at bottom is the largest coho ever recorded in the state of Oregon at 34 lbs.It was trapped in a hatchery on the Clackamas River,so the 25 lb + coho state record caught on hook and line still stands from Siltcoos Lk. |
