Promoting Renewable Human Resources
We have first-hand knowledge and contact with many persons who
have had valuable cross-cultural experience or education. Many of these persons have found their cross-cultural
experiences exhausting. Many have discovered and attest to the fact that their exhaustion was caused by trying
to do too many good things all by themselves. Attempting by themselves, to accomplish physically impossible
goals (whether imposed by themselves or others). Still others have reached "burn-out" because of emotional
exhaustion or illness.
We propose to invite many of these "retired" (but very valuable) persons to join with us in a new "esprit de corps" - EnCorps (rhymes with ENCORE) - one which places a high value on their personhood, their health and their well-being. We see the extreme value in these renewable human resources and intend to show that value and respect to them through sharing unconditional and nurturing love with them, just as we hope they do in turn, to those who we endeavour to help in third-world countries.

Many of these workers have previously sacrificed much to work for their visions and dreams. Many are destitute, without family, friends or organizations to share in their upkeep. Many are living in virtual poverty and need financial help as well as loving respect and value restored to their being.
We are excited about sharing our vision with such people and seeing their value and self-esteem renewed, along with their well-being and vitality for life. Training them and then sending some of them (for 2-4 trips of 3-4 weeks a year) back onto their former fields of service, or new areas of the world to help train and teach nationals in many basic principals necessary to a successful operation of a micro-enterprise.
While these workers are here in the states, they are welcome to join us in part-time employment at our base. We plan to find (which we have discovered) a moderate sized Country Inn type of establishment. One with full service restaurant, Inn-style rooms, as well as attached or nearby apartments for staff. We propose to operate the Inn as a Country Inn and Bed and Breakfast, using some of the staff who have talents and are gifted in areas of housekeeping, guest services, food services, maintenance, etc. We want to always reserve a room(s) for leaders and workers who need a quiet place to "get-away" from it all. No meetings, no agenda, no seminars, no counselors, etc. Just a place for them and their spouse (if any) to "veg-out" - anonymously. A bed & breakfast accommodation offering temporary room and board to those who need a desert place to hide-out for awhile - at NO COST TO THEM!
