Maine and the Civil War

My name is Eric Erb and I am a avid Civil War buff. My main interest is Maine Regiments who fought in the Civil War. One regiment and their Colonel in particular have been of interest lately. Yes the 20th Maine and Col. Joshua Chamberlain. The battle on Little Round Top led by Joshua Chamberlain was an extraordinary event one that should not be forgotten. This site is dedicated to all the men from Maine who answered the call to defend the Union.
