- Council for The Advancement of Experiential Learning: Attended national
conferences October 16-18, 1977, October 10-11, 1976 (representing
The Hartford Graduate Center) May 9-12, 1976, October 1-3, 1975,
May 11-14, 1975 (representing Sangamon State University). The
organization's purpose is to encourage research, development and
dissemination of experiential learning assessment techniques and programs.
- Program Planning & Budgeting in Higher Education: a one day workshop
for state agency officials, by Harry Hartley, Hartford, Connecticut, June
29, 1976.
- Cognitive Skills Task Force: organized and funded by the CUE Center
(Competency-based Undergraduate Education), Bowling Green State
University, to provide a forum for professional growth and a locus for
stimulating applied R&D in cognitive skill development for selected faculty
teaching in this area. Attended workshops, November 6-7, 1975 and
April 8-9, 1976.
- Intensive Residence Course in Criterion-Referenced and
Objectives-Referenced Measurement, Educational Testing Service,
August 5-9, 1974. A four CEU Course providing conceptual and
technical measurement skills.
- Johnston College National Symposium on Experimental Higher Education.
January 28-29, 1972 (institutional representative from UCLA); January
25-28, 1973 (institutional representative from Sangamon State University).
Organized as a forum for exchange of ideas among institutions actively
engaged in experimentation.
