Enemies of Doctor Who

Cybermen

The Cybermen originally evolved from the inhabitants of Mondas, Earth's twin planet. At some point, Mondas left the solar system, and the inhabitants evolved into creatures of ruthless logic, their organs were gradually replaced by cybernetic parts until the whole body was transformed into a Cyberman. Their only real weakness is gold as it cripples the breathing devices. They have also a suscepibility to gravity and certain forms of radiation.

Daleks

Created by Davros, the Daleks were the mutated descendants of the Kaleds, one of the two races on the planet Skaro. In their natural form they are small green blob like creatures, however they live inside a mobile casing which is difficult to destroy. This casing has been shown to be powered by a number of different sources, ranging from static electricity to solar power. Their purpose is to exterminate all other life forms and become the dominant species in the universe. This has led them into a number of wars, notably with mankind. They have also been known to split into various factions amongst themselves, some siding with Davros against others groups.

Ice Warriors

Native Martians, they are large green scaly creatures equipped with sonic guns and armour. They are sensitive to heat, and this is the only known weakness. The leaders appear to be less bulky and awkward that the warriors themselves. A group scouted Earth during it's first Ice age and accidentally became trapped in the Ice, thus the name Ice Warriors was adopted when many years later they were discovered.

Sea Devils

Intelligent reptilian life form that ruled the Earth during the Cretaceous period. They were eventually driven to hibernate in underground shelters by some unknown cosmic event. They awoke and started to try to remove man from the planet so that they could rule again.

Silurians

Intelligent reptilian life form that ruled the Earth during the Cretaceous period. They were eventually driven to hibernate in underground shelters by some unknown cosmic event. The were awaken by the power leaks from the nearby British Atomic Research Center. At first they tried to negotiate a peace with the humans so that could both could share the planet, however, some of the race found this unacceptable and tried to wipe mankind out using a virus.

Sontarans

Militarist aliens that are short stubby humanoids. Their Homeworld, Sontar, had a gravity superior to Earth, which gave them their superhuman strength. They are a cloned species and therefore capable of creating millions of warriors and so sustain huge military losses in their long war with the Rutans. They have a small hole in the back of the neck called the Probic Vent, this is their main weakness, they also need to recharge their life force when outside their regular environment.

Yeti

The Great Intelligence used robotic replica of Yeti to frighten away travelers from the Det-Sen monastery and protect it's first attempt at reincorporation. Later a Yeti was re-activated in London, and together with others, started to attack through the underground system, until being reprogrammed.
