This is what I have (some of it) in the way of toys and goodies in the kitchen. We set it up as a "Country Kitchen" where 4 people can do 4 different things at the same time and not be in the way of each other. We have catered several gatherings of 40 guests with no problem, (the Tappan 5 burner range makes a big difference), just cleared the counter and set up 5 steamer racks and still had room at each end for plates and salads and the breakfast nook (in front of the half wall) was clear for the beverages/bar set up. We enjoy cooking and with this kitchen makes it all that much easier. |

Simmer or sauteé? Braise or broil? Not everyone knows the difference. That’s why we are providing a list of the most popular cooking terms, and what they mean. Here are some common and not-so-common cooking terms you’re sure to find in many recipes. A key ingredient to cooking success is knowing a little something about the ingredients themselves. Here is some useful information on what to look for, how to buy, where to store, and how to prepare meals with them. |

| Doctor Who | On Saturday, the 23rd November 1963, at about 5:20pm, a television legend was born. The BBC was airing its new children's drama serial, Doctor Who. Initially conceived as an educational drama, the combination of science and action soon became a standard element of almost every child's winter weekends. But, if you've not been fortunate enough to see Doctor Who (and, in Britain at least, there can be few people over the age of 14 who haven't), this page is to tell you the basics of the series. |
| Babylon 5 | Unlike most television series, Babylon 5 is a single story, completely planned out from day one with a beginning, middle, and end. Each episode is enjoyable on its own, but is also a piece of a larger whole, a chapter in a five-year-long novel for television. |
