The Road to Emmaus
"Life is a journey, not a destination"
Have you ever been invited to an Emmaus retreat? Well, consider yourself invited. The retreat takes place from Friday night to Sunday afternoon, and consists of a weekend of personal reflection, away from family, problems and other distractions. There is no pressure, and you are free to choose to actively participate or not, and even to leave if you feel the retreat is not for you. But at the very least it offers a weekend of rest and relaxation and who knows, you may learn something about yourself!
The retreats are organized at the parish level and are usually held once or twice a year. Look in your Sunday bulletin for information regarding the next retreat, or contact me and I will be more than happy to help you. May God bless you and be with you all your days.
