Ride Lugged's Frederick Ramble

There are lots of good biking folks scattered around the internet, and some of them are sort of local. I met up with some of the folks who blog at Ride Lugged, and did a rde with them.

We had fun. All the photos here are from the first half of the ride. That was the half with normal amounts of climbing. The second half had lots more climbing, and I was pretty much too exhausted to dig the camera out.

Highlights -
• Warm rides in December.
• Road bikers who like gravel roads.
• The By-King rest stop.
• Nick absolutly rocking it on mountain bike trails on a super skinny tired road bike. The rest of us had more rational tire choices (well, maybe not Cory).
• Running into MTB'ers on those same trails.
• Cory's flask was bigger than mine.
• Beer, warm latkes, mulled cider (w/ a dash of Capt. Morgan in it) and PB&Js at the lunch break.
• Any downhill.
• Begging for beer at the rides end Being forced by the guys to hang around for a beer at the end of the ride.

Looking forward to riding with these guys again!

	We took the tail end of Salamander away from the overlook trail. Cory got the only flat of the day on the descent from the ridgeline.
